Hell, you'd expect them to have protocols that says something like "kevlar vests and AR15s do jack shit against transformers, so don't even bother." If I had intel about a suspected decepticon hiding place I'd send in tanks, attack helicopters and A10s, not foot soldiers...

Duh, I know that; I'm the one who explained it in this thread in the first place.

But by "them" I actually meant everyone.

Even though they did end up conceding that point, I think the results were still pretty limited. While the Autobot characters talked and vocalized frequently, most of the Decepticons were left practically mute, like they were still on the level of giant robot monsters; Starscream and Barricade only had a couple of lines and Frenzy just babbled.

Watching Wheelie talk throughout that scene relieved quite a bit of my concern, but seeing another clip from MTV's Movie Awards, where some Decepticons find and attack Sam and Mikaela annoys me because characters like Starscream are again behaving silently.

I understand the reasoning for this, as it makes them more menacing and monster like. Although they are not silent, they speak in cybetronian (or whatever that is), and I personally love the sound of it, alien, menacing and machine-like. Although it'd be good to have Decepticons talking among themselves, even when in Cybertronian and without subtitles, it's give them less of a hive-mind feel (the feel I got when Starscream magically summons the others from everywhere).

I think that's what he means.

He also has a slight squeak to his voice kinda like McNeil does for his Rattrap/Duo Maxwell voice. Rattrap was definitely the first thing I was thinking of when I heard him.

He already says "You may be hot, but you're dumb" and calls her "Warrior Goddess". Guess Megan Fox's hotness trascends the species barrier... to a robot species. Or maybe he just learnt human behaviour from the same website that Jazz did, who knows.
