I being trying to find out the names of these two sci-fi films and i wonder if anyone can help. Both are really old maybe as much 10 - 20 years, I was young when they were shown and i can only vaguely remember them (I'm 25 btw)
The first takes place on a garden ship, one of the crew kills his crewmates and disappears into deep space with only a bunch of robots for company; i remember that he trying stop his buddies from blowing up the domes containing the gardens and that in the end he detaches the gardens and blows up the ship with him on it leaving his robot buddies to tend them.
The second i barely remember, it basicaly (or was) Treasure Island in space, and that is about all i can remember; nobody i ask as a clue about this one and so might have made it up or dreamt it as a kid.

Regarding the second, there's a 1987 Italian miniseries called L'isola del tesoro that was released on video in the UK as Space Island, featuring Anthony Quinn as Long John Silver.

No from i can find under that title is a cartoon type thing, this definitly had real people in.
It must be "L'isola del tesoro/space island", i can always remember some kid going down some chute (pushed? Fell?) and that it was definitly on the treasure island theme. Though exactly what they were looking for and how they knew how to find it is a blank, it just always stuck in my mind and everytime i've read treasure island or talked about scifi films it pops to the front of my mind. I alway ask if anyone remembers it but no-one ever does
