We all die or are imprisoned, every single one of us, when the clones suddenly realise that their commanders can't even fucking read basic.
Don't worry, the Clones are fanatically loyal to their SD.net commanding officers and Q has given you an instictive understanding of Basic.

I assume we're also given sufficient knowledge to get along in the relevant role? Damn. I had the wonderful image of someone electrocuting themselves putting a rank cylinder into a power socket while trying to get into their quarters.
For the guy who's making a list of who goes where - I'd have the Excecutor plus two ISDs etc, meal deal. If Dr Saxon's relative power figures for them are to be believed, an Excecutor has the power generation of around one hundred and thirty Imperators. Even if not, then the prestige of the "super star destroyer" would make the Alliance take me much more seriously - with my warnings of diabolical biotech wankers from beyond the galaxy.

This is beyond idiotic.
That wasn't my plan. It was someone elses plan. For starters, there are a large number of people who want the man dead. I'm sure the Empire's current ruler would like it if their position as ruler was permanent.

Either way I'm heading out into unknown space, finding someplace uninhabited and spending a few years setting up an automated production facility to supplement my forces/create the sort of infrastructure needed to support a fleet. While this goes on I'll have my clones do their best to get me up to speed so I can be an effective commander of my force. I will, of course, be converting most of my Lancers to Carracks because lancers are very specialized and it's best to have a bit of variety in your fleet.
I'd be willing to help the "Fuck the Vong" faction and I might even become a full member and submit to their command structure if their leader proves competent and they emerge as something worth joining.
I'll not be attempting to make AIs smarter than the ones they already use (or anything else with that sort of risk factor) until and unless I've been properly educated but once I have been I will certainly look into the reasons why their technology us as underutilized as it appears to be. As has been pointed out there are several technologies that could give decisive advantages but until I've learned why they aren't utilized to a greater extent already I won't know if this is something I'll be able to easily change or not.
