Also I would like to actually make a proper map thread where all there newer maps could be placed for easy reference, or at least put on the SDN Wiki, it would make it a lot easier that way then just digging them up.

This certainly makes things more interesting.......
Strikes have begun. Thank Ryan for giving himself a distraction.

I'm just cleaning up some of the borders, rivers, and blackened areas right now. I've decided to leave the sub-country borders out of greater Syria, since the whole middle east area seems to belong to them. if Fingolfin's really that bothered by it once he finds out I'll fix it, but I CBA at the moment. Too much else to do.

What exactly are you doing there, that my being "distracted" (as it were) by a small skirmish is a good thing?
Yeah Czehmate, the black rivers are me trying to do them right but making them too thick. It was hard to get them right. The little black bits are islands that looked a bit odd or where hard to do. I am glad your getting it done though. I hope I have sped it up a bit.
Does PeZookia not have any laws against lèse majesté? If those tabloid articles don't count as a blatant example of lèse majesté, I don't know what would be.

I suspect such laws are rarely enforced in our day and age.
Hrm, I'd say let's avoid our mistake with Veleria and not have the new islands added to the map be "uninhabited" or otherwise terra nullius. Just arrange for them to have been mostly quiet and uneventful during the game so far, we can work them into the world and system soon enough.

Turns out "here be moon-worshippers" isn't exactly the greatest thing you can ask for worldbuilding-wise, 'cause few people want to get involved and hemmorage money for a few decades to bring them up to speed. It probably would've been better if Velaria had at least one South Africa style power on it. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20...
This is where we're currently at, about 40% of the way done. Massively sped up by the good work of Bluewolf. There's still lots to put in and the entirety of Veleria to get straightened out, but I'm taking a break for the night because I worked last night and still haven't slept.
Not bad so far. I am glad I could of been a help. One suggestion though, I;d personally push those islands above Vulpesia and Cialan up a little but but thats it so far. On the subject of that, are those islands above owned by any government?

Well, that's what we've to figure out somehow. They represent a storytelling opportunity that I'd loathe to waste on a mere landgrab, but that's just my opinion.
On the subject of the map itself, I forgot to mention this earlier but there's also the matter of a so-far ill-defined group of small islands somewhere in the Pacific west of Frequesue that's the location of the Fortuna Belli Proving Grounds where the NFT does most of its advanced weapons/nuclear testing, as well as the Pacific island my player-character just bought. Both should be roughly somewhere around the weird little island bit south of Al-Ghazzara, though they are not close enough together that they could both be represented by that particular doodad (the private island is farther to the north).
OK, I want to ask you guys something. You may remember me mentioning my friend who was joining soon and this is something I want to ask him but:
Would any of you guys have objections of my friend taking one of the new territories being done, in perticular the "britain" one? He may not get around to joining but it would be an interesting starting spot potentially and I just want to know what you guys would think?
Oh and on the subject of what do with the land. The reason I asked Seige is that it has a large effect on. Lets take the islands above me for example. Those islands, if owned by another nation will effect how I conduct my shopping, my naval movement etc. If so then I will be factoring that into the RP. It would be the same if those islands were not owned either. Do you get what I am saying? Another thing is that if some islands are really close like those ones above me and Vulp, and Cialan, would it also be bad to claim some? I respect though that these new areas are not just to buff up existing nations. This is what needs to be discussed.
