Oh, are you sure.. I am willing to dicuss them if you don't mind but if thats the case then yeah I am happy. Just push them a bit north a teeny bit, if thats OK (though it may be me not used to it, I am not sure yet.)

Though this does add a lot of storyline potential for me as I have more room to work with. :D

There are still basic laws against defamation in general, though. If not actual lèse majesté, those PeZookian tabloid writers could still be hit with libel charges if they try to pass off that little "news report" of theirs as true.

I'd prefer it if they were NPCs... decent ones, not just crapsacks ones you can sneeze at, and have them collapse. And if a new PC wanted to grab it instead...

I'll move them north and NPCify them. Remember, there's lots more islands coming. Another six hours of planning and pixelpushing at least.

EDIT: I hate crapsack NPCs anyways. I made the PRSF military strong, remember?

Wait, Tian Xia initiated military operations in the CFR?

Under what mandate? What the hell are they doing?

Mandate? What international organization could give such a thing? As to what I'm doing, isn't it obvious?

Well Beowulf is taking things a bit further than I thought he would. From the initial post I got the impression he was simply launching a wide series of punitive raids.

I was going to have the president go on about how he wanted to work with Tian Xia to prevent such a mess that is now brewing from happening, but I figured he would be too pissed off for such a speech at the current time. It can wait till the public statement that will be forthcoming :D .

On another note, how am I to know if Japanistan has Indhopal's back on this? Coyote seems to have been unable to post as late and what Japanistan is prepared to do certainly enters into Indhopal's calculations here.

One suggestion: The Japanistanis should have some people masquerade as NFT soldiers and set them against the Tian Xians. If executed properly, instant chaos.

If Tian Xia behaves the way it does now, it might be not long until it actually faces real Japanistani soldiers as opposed to masquerading ones.

If Japanistan plays its hand too early and deploys its military for real, the MESS and CATO might just unite and curbstomp them. If they keep a low profile and engage in false flag ops and sundry other forms of subterfuge, they can just sit back and watch the MESS and CATO tear themselves to pieces, then swoop in and conquer whatever's left.

As for this Pacific Union, well...we'll see what happens.

Well, I wasn't expecting a violent "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" so much as either friendly support or irritation at starting the process of turning a Velerian state, a Kingdom, and a Principality into a neutral near-Tsardom with a great deal of influence and holdings in the Pacific.

Oh, my two considerations for the PacUnion's flag:

Image

Image

The former was the initial idea, then I decided that making it an actual tricolor and putting a golden color in due to it being the only unrepresented color of the three nations' flags left might make the flag look cooler/better.

And since the Adabani are ethnically Arab and Persian, I decided to adapt one of the historical Persian flags as their's:

Why would CATO of all people stop Japanistan from teaching Beowulf not to act like the Huang Dick? ;)

I think they know that they will be nukified as a preventive measure in case of a MESS-CATO war, so it's definetely not in their interests to have a large MESS-CATO war. A small MESS-CATO war, or a small MESS-Japanistan-CATO war with complex warfare... that is another matter.

If they are going to be NPC nations then either move them somewhere else or push them up north by quite a bit. I don't want something that close to me, no offence. Its not like its just one small island or anything.

So please, push them far north, give some to me and Vul or just get rid of them entirely. Seeing as I am the one who may be effectected out of this more then Beo, I think its fair I get some leeway on this. I do understand though that we don't want another Veleria or lol "take over land". I hope I have not pissed you off. :)

There aren't any NFT soldiers anywhere near Mortimer's Claim. The closest ones are in southern Sabika. Anyone attacked by 'NFT soldiers' so far south would know it's a ploy by a third party instantly. We're not idiots, if we were going to interfere with the Tian Xian attempt at annexation we wouldn't be doing it with uniformed footsloggers. Instead we'd use the Winter Army or some other group as proxies.

Yeah, it's kind like with leaving MESS shell casings and weapons after a black-op hit. Everybody is instantly going to assume that competent black operators would not use weapons blatantly pointing to the perpetrator :)

If Japanistan wants to cause real chaos, it should start arming Mortimer with CATO munitions. USCR RPG-7Vs killing Tian Xian soldiers? Much better than some infantry skirmish with obviously planted uniforms :D

So, am I the only non-CATO nation contributing to FASTA?
