wait, the same engines push the ship in realspace as in the Warp? That's new to me...

The Warp is just Hell, really. You still have to zoom around it like any other place; it's the Gellar field which keeps things sane enough for that to be possible.

You don't move any faster in the Warp than you do in realspace, but by going into the Warp at a certain point (and leaving at a certain point) you avoid having to travel all the distance you would have to in realspace.

10.5 days? I think not

s = u t + 1/2 a t^2

where s=displacement, u=initial velocity, a=acceleration, t=time.

In your case, u=0, a=g=9.8m/s^2, displacement=40au. (It's optimal to
accelerate at 3g for half the time, then decelerate for the other half.)

Solving, t=sqrt(2*s/a). The total time (accelerating+decelerating) is
then 2sqrt(2s/a).

2*sqrt(2 * 40 * 1.49*10^11 / (3*9.8) ) = 1.27*10^6 seconds.

To get this in days,
1.27*10^6 / (60*60*24) = 14.7 days.

I have assumed it's all Newtonian. The top speed will be
3 g * time accelerating = 1.8*10^7
which is 6% the speed of light. I've forgotten how to do relativistic calculations, but I don't think there will be much discrepancy at this sort of speed.

To do an 80AU trip in 10.5 days you'd be going at closer to 6G
