We usually eat fresh chicken, not some rock-hard chicken-like substance that's been in cryo-freeze for 2+ years
With real chicken, you can boil it for about 1/2 hour and it will be tender and yummy (but boring ), when I was living in a friend's house in Omaha a chicken took overnight to get edible, and there was this slimey substance in the pot, I think it was some kind of wet cement.
