yep thats how some homeowner associations function like a damned fascist state. want to see some scary groups try looking into the reqs of some the high priced neighborhoods or the historical one. you cannot do anything with out their damn permission.

My Gargoyle basically looks like a puppy with wings. Does this frighten you? I can only imagine you screaming in fear when the Snuggles fabric softener bear is speaking to you through your evil television set.

*sigh* Another set of wannabe Rockefellers crossed with Jerry Falwell. Homeowner's Associations are bad enough...fundie HAs have to be from some kinda Tenth Circle of Hell or somesuch. How is it that the stupidest people have the greatest likelihood of being elected to the Homeowner's Board?

LOL! Thank you for posting that, I needed a good laugh after feeling bad about the economy.

I have a HOA but they seem pretty reasonable. It is a condo complex, so some rules are to be expected.

Id mail those idiots pictures of the greatest churches in Europe adorned with gargoyles.

There was a commercial parody on HBO's long defunct "Not Necesarily the News" where a lady is doing her ironing when an impossibly cute, Snuggle-like bear crawls out of the laundry basket, extolling the virtues of his fabric softener. He gets about a sentence into his schpiel when the woman starts screaming hysterically, and starts bashing the bear's head in with her iron. Hilarious!
