Should there be an SD.Net Penalty Box?

Post by irishmick79 »

For posters who get the temporary ban?

I'm thinkin' right below where the main bbs page lists everybody who's online. You list the perpetrator, and the amount of time he's going to be out, and list the infraction that got him flagged. It's not quite as shameful as being in the hall of shame, but still insulting nonetheless....

People in the penalty box can have their avatars replaced with a picture of a smiling hockey player sans a few teeth.

Yeah, it'd be pointless. We've already got the HoS, what more do we need? There'd be no point to it, and it'd just piss the people off while they can't respond. Just cause someone's being an asshole doesn't mean we've got the right to diss them while they can't respond. Leave 'em be, and give 'em an honest chance when they come back.

Ted and Shep are temp-banned for a "cooling off" period, not a "let's bash 'em while they're not around" period.
