Most of the earlier Bosses were far tougher than him.
Ganon from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
He looks big, he looks bad, and he carries two swords that are huge even at Zelda standards. He even wields the Triforce of Power!
All this, and he's STILL patheticly easy. Anything in the game can hurt him (I enjoy taking him down with Deku Nuts) and he's way too slow. Somehow I think the Triforce isn't worth its hype...

Shinnok from Mortal Kombat 4. I don't know anything about the bosses from MK1 because I never got to them. Motaro and Shao Kahn from MK3 were big, scary, and tough due to their cheapness. Same with Goro in MK4. But Shinnok? Give me a break! The guy's a completely playable character from the start, taking away from the mystique that the other bosses had. Adding to that was the fact that he had no special moves other than morphing (which the CPU never even did), and was incredibly easy. I used to get Flawless or near Flawless Victories all the time on him.

Can't believe I forgot about Abyss in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. This guy is just plain PATHETIC. His first form was this big, slow, and telegraphed all its moves ahead of time. His second form is helpless against anyone with a decent beam/projectile. His third form dies with two Hyper Viper Beams from Cable.

Frank Horrigan, Fallout 2. I stealth-assassinated the president and stole his keycard, and used it for the counter-insurgency protocol, along with bringing the Enclave troopers over to my side. Turrets popped up and raked him with fire, and I shot him in the groin with a Gauss Rifle. Got critical, knocked him down. He never even got a shot off.

Omega Metroid, Metroid Fusion. The first hit does up to 2098 damage to you, leaving you at one health. Then the SA-X shows up, gets owned, and then you absorb the SA-X and you use the Ice Beam to return the favor to the Omega Metroid. The only remotely challenging part is the fact that you have three minutes to get to, beat the thing, and climb into your ship.

Are you talking about Robo Andross, or the real one? Cause I had trouble the first couple of times I fought Andross's brain.
Not only Ganon, but Ganondorf was easy as hell, too. I was sicked when in my first try I did it, without using a god damn fairy.
The boss from Halflife: Opposing Force, the one from HL wasn't that much harder, but it looked cooler and had that annoying transport attack to make it more difficult.

Quake-God, what was the point?!?

Anyways... Lamest Boss I ever stomped was the Level 5 Space Ice Worm thingy from the SNES version of Super EDF. Judging by this review of EDF, the SNES version sucked compared to the Arcade version...

Yeah, Quake; God what was the point of the end boss? Quake II had a better boss and it was hella fun fighting it. Quake III's end boss Xaero or whatever was hell too.

You could take him out without problems at level 80? Also, some of the characters had a harder time taking down a boss than other characters, like the necro. His minions would all die pretty fast. Others like the Amazon had a pretty easy time to take him out. My Druid was somewhere in the 80s with a hit that max went somewhere around 3000 (but its min was lik 800 I don't remember the name of the axe but its the one that looked like an eagle kind of). Hmm, actually it might have been due to the fact that I was barely keeping my resistance in the plus range.

Funny thing is, ArmorPierce, my character had a bitch of a time during the entire expansion, since it was melee, and the expansion was seemed to be designed for long-range fighters and WW barbs.

There was this game for the NES called Metal Storm. I never played it, but I heard it was the easiest boss in history.

That was sort of lame. To have the Omega show up and just blast him. The only thing it did was give a reason for the SA-X to show up. Seeing how the X parasite and the Metroids are against each other. Not only that, a way to rid the universe of not only the X but of Metroids as well.Darth Yoshi wrote:Omega Metroid, Metroid Fusion.
