Shhh, fatty nerds are trying to justify describing games as a terrible trial at 80 whole milliseconds round trip. It's comedy gold. I bet once they missed a headshot because their mum sent a big email.

I want to describe this game as terrible because there's no way in hell they can justify charging 66 USD for it (the listed Steam price). At 30 I may consider it and for 20 I'd have bought it by now, but at that price, given what I experienced in the demo, there is no justifcation.

Huh... they're charging $10 extra on steam?... That is a rip off.

Yeah, it hasn't managed to hold me, partially because it's deeply unstable, but also because there's only the one game mode. If an SDK drops and lets folks make maps, and they patch it losing connection every other map change, it might be worth $25-$30.

Isn't that just regional pricing? I can't see this being a premium game. Then again, they charged 60USD for Sacred 2... so... :)

60 USD? Sacred 2 (PC) came out as a lower tier game around here, at 20€.

A shame about the lack of ships and planes. I really had interest in a futuristic BF1942 with new mechanics (ever since the cockslap that was BF2142) and gameplay, but they seem to love cutting out the parts I liked about that game. Oh well.

It's a European game so I think the non-Euro distributors price-gouged on it. In AU it's 'regular' price, and in Asia it's ~40USD. The US distributor must think it's such a great game that people will pay premium pricing for it.

Just like how people charge $30 for EV Nova, $40 for Dominions 3, etc. Turns out making games cheaper at the low end helps sales. Did Braid outsell Dominions 3? I'm going to say yes. :)
