So do I. But, here is the kicker - you want a ship that has more troops than the ISD, carries the same amount of fighters (but in general better ones) and the ability to go toe to toe with heavy cruisers, only having to flee from Star Dreadnoughts? In short, you want an ISD on a ship that is described as being diminuitive sized even in Rebellion. Even in an 800m ship (nevermind that diminuitive is certainly not something that would approach 800m) that would be excessive. I would have to enlarge that ship at least up to 1400 meters and raise the point cost to 11 points - at least. Or the ship would stay 800m but would be very thin-hulled and very weakly-shielded.Agent Sorchus wrote:And last, Thanas when you changed the ship list you changed the size on the Liberator cruiser and eliminated the troop capacity. Also in general the lists for non imperial vessels almost entirely lack ground troop capacity. This peeves me, because I was relying upon the ability of the Liberators to transport troops and I happen to be one of only two users of the liberator in the game. Now I don't mind the change to wookieepedia's standard in size, so long as I can keep the troop capacity that goes with the entry. What I would be happy with is:
Liberator
800m 11000 troops (three short regiments) 72 fighters and the ability to not run screaming from most ships in the cruiser class, while a dreadnaught can make them break off.
Now I know that what we want and what we get are not the same, but with the lack of any troop transport capacity in non imperial ships I feel that your limiting of this one ship was a bad judgment. Note: wookieepedia does not actually have a source for the ships size that is good, I own and still play Rebellion and nothing in that game should be treated as scaled properly.
If you need space to transport troops cheap, buy a Star Galleon. They can carry troops. Unless you want an Assault carrier role (in which case the Liberator is even more preposterous), in which case I would advise you to built a few Acclamators. Or you could built a couple of CC-9600 Frigates - they carry 10000 troops each.
As the change probably caught you unaware, I would be willing to retroactively allow you to change your OOB.
