Pictures of naked women are a special case. Clearly, when a heterosexual man looks at such pictures, he wishes he was there. A mental image forms of himself, a man, naked, in that picture, and he sees what he could be if only he had been there instead of just her. Sees those beautiful muscles, that chiseled face, the skin gleaming in oil. And it all happened because of that naked woman that he's already forgotten all about, poor guy.
How can you not call a picture like that porn?

This isn't nearly so funny to me, seeing as I've been sent Christian books on "what homosexuality really is and how to defeat it in your mind", to paraphrase, which explicitly state that homosexuality is a form of envy in which men begin to sexually lust after other men because they commit the sin of envy in imagining themselves like men who are more masculine than they are, and therefore desire their masculine traits so badly (the example actually used in the book in question was a comparison with headhunters in Papua New Guinea engaging in cannibalism to gain the positive traits of their victims!, so the book directly equated homosexuality and cannibalism) that they start lusting after and ultimately having sex with other men in an effort to become more perfect men through envious sin, rather than worship of God.

So when a gay guy wants to boink another guy it's not only lust but a religious statement?
I can't speak for gay men, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I always assumed it worked like straight male lust: boy sees girl, boy gets boner, boy starts thinking of possible ways to introduce girl to his boner.
Well, as for me, I assumed that when I tried intentionally to construct the flimsiest, most self-serving rationale I could for such a stupid concept, I'd be providing parody, not smarter versions of actual arguments made by Christians.

I have sometimes wondered how many of those raised in strict, fundamentalist Christian housholds ever figured out that human beings could make love face-to-face.
They used a DIFFERENT kind of porn.

Those are cute sheep. A little creepy how they are both staing straight at you.

Poe's Law- parody is indistinguishable from sophisticated Christian arguments.
