Just letting you all know my posting is going to be rather infrequent for a month or so as I am getting out of the Marine Corps and am currently swamped with stuff I need to get done for that and once I'm out I'll be looking for a job, place to live, etc.

In the mean time a rough budget:
base income 2000pts
trade income 75pts
surplus from last year 169pts
total budget 2244

facility maintenance 20pts
ship maintenance 335pts
total maintenance 355pts

spendable budget 1889

4x1000m shipyards @ Mechis III 520pts
1x1200m shipyard @ Obroa-Skai 150pts
2x1600m shipyards; 1@Onderon, 1@Arkania 520 pts
1xresearch station @ Arkania 20pts
30xGolan III; 6@each planet 420pts

10xGladiator-class Cruisers, 4@Alsakan(2x1000m shipyards), 3@Arkania, 3@Onderon (2x1000m shipyards and 2x800m shipyards between them) = 50pts

3.5xWings of TIE Interceptors @ Mechis III (4x200m shipyards) = 7pts

total 1687

Colonize Dxun 50expansion pts

remaining 202 + 50unspent on expansion

Just letting people know - you can't save expansion points.

Open offer to all factions:

The Remnant is going to expand its fleet again next year and is therefore once more looking for arm deals. My faction would be most interested in the following:

- Corona-class frigates
- Assault Frigates (MkI or MKII)
- Neb-B or Neb-B2 frigates
- Strike/carrack-class cruisers
- Vindicator/Enforcer-class cruisers

Please sent offers via PM. The arms deal would most likely be for a total of 25 or more points. Please tell me what you would like to build me for that. Offers do not have to be of a singular shipclass, they can be mixed (but do not have to).

If you can't build any of those ships but want to offer similar ones, do not hesitate to PM me either.

I'll have something expansion-related up by day after tomorrow.
Conversion Table:

2000 Mockingbirds = 2 Kilomockingbirds
Basic Unit of Laryngitis = 1 Hoarsepower
453.6 Graham Crackers = 1 Pound Cake
1 Kilogram of Falling Figs - 1 Fig Newton
Time Between Slipping on a Banana Peel and Smacking the Pavement = 1 Bananosecond
Half of a Large Intestine = 1 Semicolon

I have updated the OOBs of both the Gordian Dominion/Sith Empire and the Shadow Empire to reflect purchases made in year 1. Note that I expect to have spent the 100 expansion points for the Shadow Empire on conquering some remote world in the mind, but I haven't yet gotten around to writing that and the SE OOB does not yet reflect this turn of events.

Ugh, I haven't gotten around to wrapping up my 2nd-year OOB yet, let alone the one for the Shadow Empire. It looks like the rest of the week will be quite busy, and I'll be in Berlin this weekend and thus unable to contribute to the game. I think it'll have to wait until next week. Apologies to my fellow mods...

To all my CORE allies and everybody else who has given aid money to Coruscant:
In recognition of that fact the Imperial Remnant would like to rename a few streets/quarters on either Coruscant and Anxes after you. Please PM me if you have any specific wishes or object, otherwise I will just go ahead.

Alright good news I get out of the Marines on Wednesday and will be home by Saturday. Bad news my laptop took the final plunge so when I get home I have to finish building my new desktop and hunt down all the information I've posted here before I can finish signing treaties in UT time and working on my second year plans. I hope to get some posts up next week, hopefully Monday.

Guys, I am sorry it takes so long to write a new post/review things. I have recently advanced to a new position in my university, so it takes me a bit more to adjust to it. Plus, the previous guy left things in a mess and I have to fix it.

I promise I will have it done by the weekend.

It's all good. For all my pokings in PM, I'm just as bad at getting around to writing stuff. Ask PeZook how long it took me to send him my idea for an end to a certain SDN World storyline.

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? A country isn't a rock. It's not an extension of one's self. It's what it stands for. It's what it stands for when standing for something is the most difficult! - Chief Judge Haywood

Also, everyone who wants some convoy action, please tell me the size of your convoy escort. I'll try not to be a dick and give everybody a fighting chance, but unless you tell me your escort, I'll committ heavy pirate forces.

I've got 3 Imperial Escort Carriers, 9 Nebulon-Bs, 9 Lancers, 3 Strike Cruisers, and 45 Decimators on convoy duty. Generally, the Strikes act as a strategic reserve, with the frigates actually with the convoys and the carriers in deep cover positon. Decimators are for scouting, of course.
Conversion Table:

2000 Mockingbirds = 2 Kilomockingbirds
Basic Unit of Laryngitis = 1 Hoarsepower
453.6 Graham Crackers = 1 Pound Cake
1 Kilogram of Falling Figs - 1 Fig Newton
Time Between Slipping on a Banana Peel and Smacking the Pavement = 1 Bananosecond
Half of a Large Intestine = 1 Semicolon

Sorry! Erm, 3 Lancers, 3 Nebulon-Bs, and a carrier within easy jump range.
