A WH40K movie would be good, but IMO it would be too far off the mainstream of sci-fi to be very successful...Unless the IG were presented as less zealous and uncaring, then maybe they would be sympathetic characters. If any of you have read the 'Gaunt's Ghosts' books, then you've probably noticed that the Ghosts were more 'human' than their compatriots, and noticeably less likely to be executed by their superiors for minor misdeeds.

Hell yes, a Fallout movie would be goddamn wicked. The Yosemite Bear wrote:The brotherhood of the Holy St. Liebowittz (howmany Roman Catholic cults can form around the Athiest Nuclear Scientist that keept civilization alive after the atomic wars. Besides it's a crying shame no one has ever made "canticle" into a movie, or at least included refrences o it in one of Interplay's "Fallout" products.
But I think a 40K one would be cool too.

The Eldar are primarly motivated by their desire to reduce Eldar casualties. So what could happen is that when the humans are finally mobilized, the Eldar with draw their forces. This results in a major battle, as the Imperium had been counting on the Eldar to hold up that side of the battle line. As a result, casualties are 3-4 times higher than expected. Then in the second half you have the Forces of Chaos reveal themselves, and destroy Human Bases, then you get a Three way war which would then evolve into a Human-Eldar Alliance against Chaos.
On board the Eldar warship, two Eldar leaders are talking to each other. One of them had grown fond of the humans (younger, and had spent several months among them), while the other has experience on her side. he younger asked why they left the humans to die, when the Eldar could hav prevented several of the deaths.
The older one replies, "Because if wew had stayed, there would have been three more Eldar dead. Because we left though, those three are still alive."
"But what of the thirty thousand humans that died?"
"Don't worry about minor stuff like that. The important thing is that Eldar lives were saved. It is better to sacrifice a million humans, than a single Eldar life."
So everyone watching the movie would suddenly realize that the Eldar are in it for themselves, not the crusading heroes of ancient times.

There are 3 types of people in this world: Those who can count and those who can't!
Before you talk about someone-- walk a mile in there shoes. That way you'll be a mile away, AND you'll have their shoes.
If the enemy is in range of your weapons, then you are probably in range of theirs.

Poke=useless post count boosting by senior members who want to harrass newbies. The primary reason I don't delete them, even though they are spam, is that this would alienate a good deal of the general population of the board.
Welcome Newbies, please read the main site and the FAQ. (And the announcements at the top of the forums) you will save your self a lot of embarrassment that way.

A good movie idea is one our almighty webmaster thought of: Exodus from the EGYPTIAN point of view. Or would that be too "offensive"?

Ridley as a playable character. That's the most important thing for me right now. More important than even porn.
P.S. For those of you who don't know who or what Ridley is, he is the winged dragon of Metroid fame, with more staying power than Ganon.
