Peek at the New TARDIS Console Room
Hey all, I just found this http://io9.com/5387160/doctor-who-new-t ... /gallery/1 it's shows a small peek at the new TARDIS console room. Well based on what I see, I like it, sort of a Steampunk/Art Deco theme to it I think.

It does look less organic than the 9th/10th Doctor's Tardis, I think. Closer to steampunk.

Hope i havent missed this point elsewhere. However for the time being it looks like there will only be snippits of the console room as the new console has yet to be designed. A Blue Peter contest is how it will be choosen no less...and by the Doctor himself. I'm sure this will create some..intresting design ideas.
Ive also seen some recent pictures from filming and considering the state the newly regenerated Dr is in and the fact the console room at least is being redesigned. I feel this leads to a conclusion of the TARDIS getting pretty beaten up during the next encounter with a certain Mr Tyler

I was rather hoping we'd get something a bit more imaginative than steampunk. It's starting to become cliched. But then, almost anything is an improvement over what they've got for a TARDIS set right now.
