I like, I like!
So, we've got the uneasy allies of Ando, Nitram, and Lucet, all trying to get away from the ISD, while the Maquis, Cardassians, and Feds all try to get to the ISD...I can't wait for the battle royale.
Plus, I'm willing to bet the Empire ends up playing a role as well.
FACT: Mike Wong is a supreme badass.
Keep up the good work!

And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Of course, how could we be so blind? Ando has the hero role, he gets the majority of the dialogue and he's got Rebecca as his wife... WeeMadAndo is in fact the result of Mikes mad science experiments to create a living, breathing Mary-Sue.Mark S wrote:Mike, did you subconsciously put my wife in your fic and marry her to Ando?Darth Wong wrote:... Why do I get the feeling that at least one of these guys will be screaming "Jihaaaaaad!" before this is over?Dalton turned around to face Wilson, his second in command. Wilson was a tall, lanky former Starfleet officer who was old enough to have seen combat in the first Cardassian war. The two of them were sometimes referred to as "Rob and Rob" because they shared the same first name. "All right, we've got room for twelve. Get Wilkens, Vympel, Typho, Eleas, Coyote, Stravo, Lars, Mackey, Frank, and Sheppard."

Hey, I'm in it! Cool. And I'm a leader dude.
But one question...if Damien is on DS9, how can they suffer a nav problem and go into the DMZ?

He's on a ship docked at DS9. At this point in the timeline, Sisko is the captain of DS9 itself. Should I have made that more clear?Dalton wrote:Hey, I'm in it! Cool. And I'm a leader dude.

A wee bit. The way it reads makes it sound like he's on DS9, though I did later parse it to mean he was AT DS9 and not on it, even though it does sound like he's already underway.Darth Wong wrote:He's on a ship docked at DS9. To be honest I didn't like ch.3 as much as I did one and two. Once the War Droid started up it was pretty obvious there was going to be a lot of grisly death and now it looks as if theres going to be a miraculous escape of some sort. Someone has to take the ship (ISD Mk 2?) and eventually control it. Chaters four and five though should be excellent, every part of "Conquest" I didn't enjoy so much was followed up by great material. What I did like was the latter portion of the Chapter dealing with the more human side of the Maquis rebellion. Good stuff there.

This rules. What Eleas said. I'm in the story. The story rules. Everything therfore, rules. I don't care if it's fallacious.

Now, now. Just because your username is almost impossible to work in as a character name don't blame everyone else for getting some Fic time.Singular Quartet wrote:Thppbt.
Why is it that people want to be in fanfics? Does it have to do with recognition, or is it due to the fact that all of you need that small ego boost of being in a fanfic?
Actually I don't like appearing in fics unless the authors really good, and even then i prefer to be an ancillary character with very little 'air time', does the job the plot calls for and then gone.
Just out of interest what is wrong if people do like to see their names in fics?

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."
