Being in an argumentative mode I'll point that all the background events Papadakis mentions or for that matter the history of Cisplatina describes have taken place in the part of Provincia Oriental that is Cisplatina. The only thing that can legitimately called an assumption is that Battle was elected president as in OTL and by extension the Blanco government my Spanish counterpart describes was the result of Saravia actually taking over the government.
To remain in the argumentative mode just as my Spanish counterpart can proclaim his Uruguayan subjects to be happy little campers that love the idea of Uruguay turning again into a Spanish colony or for that matter being directly ruled by the monarch in uhm non-democratic fashion so can I decide the feelings of my Cisplatine subjects and proclaim them morally certain to the just cause of annexing Uruguay, or needing colonies or annexing Parana.
Be my guest then. But if you end up playing the part of Paraguay in a new War of the Triple Alliance, well, that's your deal....

Akhlut, would the Dominion even have any assets in Mongolian banks?

Yeah, seriously.
Since Switzerland appears to be the only True Neutral(tm) country, it's more likely bank accounts would be there.

So Steve pointed out some issue with the Majestuoso-class. For IBP purposes they will retain their weight class within the nearest 1 kt but until he and I work out some SpringSharp bug related issues please take the Wiki as a design goal ONLY.

We have lots of industry, so, perhaps, a few guys might have a few dollars lodged away. Admittedly, it's going to be chump change at best, but, meh. We're making a statement, dammit.

Note that Beowulf mined the rivers even before I attacked. That's enough cause for war. So all this talk about "Russian agression" will only get extreme dissatisfaction with the USSR.

With you staging provocations before hand, this will be much easier to wave off.

yeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh no. I'm not saying it's impossible, but Manchuria is the big industrial investment.

As I said, I'm under no illusions that there's going to be anything more then maybe a handful of guys with a few investments here and there. Plus, we can't really expect the Khan to know the exact extent of all foreign economic activity in a heavily industrialized nation. So, he's making more of a precautionary statement then anything else. If there is no Dominion investment or accounts in Mongolia, then he loses nothing, and if there are, then he gains something, however small.

I calculated the densities of offense/ defence and as I gather, the length of the borders, as well as the placement of forces in reserve, means I have achieved a doctrinal numerical superiority at least on the initial breakthrough fronts.
Lost one Shkval-class monitor and around ten civilian steamers and barges rushed as "cleaners" downstream, to enemy mines, so be it.

We believe in the USSR! On the news of Manchurian aggression many common Brazilian workers grabbed their personal, non-state owned weapons and, filled with revolutionary vigour, spontaneously boarded ships which could not hold back their irrepressible desire to support their comrades in the east! Thus they set out, without any orders from high command, to give support to our noble communist brethren!
EDIT: If I send cavalry would they need their own horses or would / could the USSR supply that?
Sent an infantry division for internal security purposes... Without prior warning. Hello international incident!

He. The Soviet Union would accept all help by brotherly nations in defending from Manchurian agression.
The Soviet Union could, and will, supply volunteer cavalry and infantry divisions. For that matter, the Soviet Union receives weapon and food supplies from the Trans-Siberian and through the Trans-Mongolian railways, from Nisleel Khuree straight to Ulan-Ude and then to Chita, where these supplies are further brought by trains to the forces on the front lines.
The forces' arrival and deployment, however, would take several weeks at least (at most a month and then some), especially with the strain on the Trans-Siberian. Especially if said division comes from Brazil through European ports (i.e. it will have to make a nigh ten-day trip from Leningrad to Chita alone, discounting the deployment and equipment hauling times).
Also, loomer - your help's useful. Just keep this division ready in Central Asia (I will grant passage to my Central Asian regions, to deploy in any major city, say, Almaty), so that I have someone to lean on if the Chinese decide to foolishly attack through the mountains and deserts of Kazakhstan.

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? So you've begun a mobilization? *calculates* Maybe I will have to commit to one at end Q2. But not now, anyhow.

I have no intention to make the Soviet-Manchurian war a world war; and given the circumstances and political goals of the USSR, that seems rather unlikely.

Yep Stas. Second tier in case you don't know basically lets me deploy a faction of my army beyond my active one without bringing the rest in. I was thinking that it'd be organised like this so mobilisation goes much more smoothly.
Steve pins this process, time wise at 2-3 weeks btw. It's more getting troops in Manchuria that is the challenge.
Also I would like to ask how many men you have applied to this war atm.
(No, there's no Slavic National Confederacy. At least not yet.)
