Doctor Who SDCC '09 B/W First Doctor $30 at BBC America

Post by Soontir C'boath »

Please place this in OT if it's more suited.

Just letting any other Who fans here who collect the figures, I was browsing BBC America and found the SDCC limited run Black/White coloured version of William Hartnell's Doctor on sale at $30 (normally $40 and almost sold out everywhere) and you can get free shipping (USA of course) this week with the code: freeus

[/announcement]

P.S. - Of course I have already ordered mine before any of you buggers takem all. :P
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

You only got yours now.

I managed to get the First doctor colour (not black and white) figure off ebay, and without the Dalek (since I got enough of those). Not to mention I got colour second doctor figure as well plus third doctor. So now I have the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th and 10th doctors. I don't believe they release 7th or 8th doctors (unless you count the old Dapol figures, which is a different company) or the new Matt Smith Doctor.

Hey, I wanted to buy it at release and especially Troughton as well since he's my second favorite Doctor, but I didn't want to pay $40 USD each + shipping. :P

I managed to find a Third Doctor w/ Dalek over the weekend for $12 though which made me ecstatic since he's my most favorite Doctor. :D I still want the other one with the Sea Devil though.

Man, you are even more hardcore than me. A quick ebay search again shows more doctor figures which may or may not be in people's price range, so ebay is another option. Generally I am now willing to pay more than a few years ago since I earn more now and have more savings.

If you are interested perhaps we could compare Doctor Who memorabilia via PMs.
