But their project stumbled at the first hurdle when they failed to find a single man who had not been seen it.

Sure, I'm 29, I've never watched a porn video. I've seen the odd clip because it was included in something else, or because it was a pop up on a dodgy web site, or because someone else was playing it on the TV (when I was a student), but I've never deliberately gone and watched some.

I'm surprised by this. Watching porn is not the same as masturbation. We know the overwhelmingly vast majority of men have tugged their skin boat, but surely there are some with no access to material, or with a strong cultural aversion to obtaining any.

Never been to Turkey before? Here's one thing they can do. Assuming they don't have a computer, which there are a good amount that don't and a lot of people use internet cafes instead, they can go outside and walk into one of the numerous small video stores that are privately owned, tell them what they want, and the worker will download a bootleg and sell it to them for like $2. That or they can get the real thing by going to a brothel since it's legal there.

I'll be 19 in a month. I'd google image search some term like "bra" or whatever when I was 11. Well son, I've never had to look for porn offline (although I've found a few magazines here and there; did you know that British lad mags like Maxim and FHM have bare breasts in them?), and I can tell you, still images were all we had before high-speed internet became common. It's still more convenient, sometimes, like during peak times when the Internet is a little slow and I need some naked flesh right now.
You just need to find the right pictures. Some girls are better in photos than in videos. And like loomer said, you should grab some print porn. Never know when the lights will go out.
PS I'm 21 now. I've had the internet in the house since 96ish.
It also depends on how you define porn. I've watched european "cult/art movies" since I was first a teen, I've been reading Playboy comics since I was 6, I actually started paying attention to the centerfolds when I was 11, and didn't see my first movie with Amber Lynn or that Italian former member of Parliment, until I was in my 20s.
of course I got into my gory and misogynist phase my junior/senior year in high school, something about reading books by a guy named Norman, and watching some japanese movie called "Overfiend".... (that was 20 years ago, and I'm a much more adjusted (not a virgin) person now)

Indeed. I don't think the study's researchers claimed that 100% of men look at porn. They just said that they tried to research men 20-29 who had never viewed porn, and gave up because it was so difficult to acquire a sample group.
