I found this thread over at OT.com (not advertising, mind you) and wondered if
anyone here wanted to contribute their wisdom to it:

When it comes down to it, the scales of vehicles are really inconsistent between movies, even between shots.

Star Wars Scaling (again)
fun/fantasy movies existed before the overrated Star Wars came out. What made it seem 'less dark' was the sheer goofy aspect of it: two robots modeled on Laurel & Hardy, and a smartass outlaw with bigfoot co-pilot and their hotrod pizza-shaped ship, and they were sucked aboard a giant Disco Ball. -adw1
Someone asked me yesterday if Dracula met Saruman and there was a fight, who would win. I just looked at this man. What an idiotic thing to say. I mean really, it was half-witted. - Christopher Lee

Re: Star Wars Scaling (again)
Part of the mistakes are confusing the three ESB/ROTJ command bridges, though. The one from the MF flyby in ROTJ is different from the Executor and ISD-II ones from those films. It's more likely the film crew made a separate detailed bridge for another ship than the Executor (which already has one for the shuttle flyby scene).
