windows movie maker problem

Post by mr friendly guy »

I use windows movie maker to capture certain scenes, opening themes from my favourite DVDs. The problem arises that sometimes these files have several audio tracks, for example between the usual one, the commentary one or another language. With something like VLC its easy enough to change the audio track to the one you want. The problem with windows movie maker is that sometimes it plays the appropriate audio track, and sometimes it plays another one. The question is how do we get windows movie maker to play the appropriate (ie in English ) audio track.

If you don't mind adding an extra step in the middle, you could use DVDShrink to take out the unwanted audio tracks while making a backup DVD, and then use that to capture from. I'm reasonably sure that will do the job for you.

I'm waiting as fast as I can.

In your control panel click the link that says "Switch to classic view". Once you do that you will be able to see your Admin Tools.
The harder you fall, the higher you bounce.
