by the way i never beat FF9 how does it end????
(i only got up to the part where you have to fight the elemental gaurdians at the shrines so i need to know the story from that point onward)
I havent beat it yet, almost though, I just got to Memoria. And the elemental guardians are easy! If you couldnt beat them, then you dont stand a chance later in the game. And I forgot to mention another favorite from the game, the scene of Black Mages storming Lindblum.

The opening cinematic to Starlancer was damn cool. Hell, all the cinematics from that game were damn cool.

Grom vs the Big Ass Demon from Warcraft 3. Damn, what a way for old Grom to go.

Also, The Lengend of Dragoon had some kick ass cutscenes. Paticularly the attack on the Wingly city, the Divine Dragons attack on the crystal catsle, and the final cutscene where Dart runs it all home. God, I love that game. Truly a innovative combo system too.

Homeworld had a bunch of great cutscenes, most done in art work and not CGA. The CGA cutscenes were beautiful, but the drawn ones were inspired.
The acting in HW was awsome as well, it is rare to see a game done so well.

I can't say I have a "favorite" - but Tassadar doing a kamikaze on the Overmind does have its appeal...

Gabriel Knight had some cool cutscenes too.

The Brood War opening cinematic rocked. Terrans running around in a trench, Zerg pouring in, and that huge battecruiser flying away to a booming chorous. :D
Warcraft 3 intro fucking rocks too, too huge armies just charging as fast as hell at each other, and the infernals just falling like rain.
Human cinematic was cool too, especially when Arthas marches into the city with that cool music going.
Ehh, the ight Elf one sucked, and the Orc one was pretty good too.

Shit! I forgot about those!
Yes, that game had the PERFECT example of what an Intro Movie should look like, Because it, A-Got you pumped up, B-Gave you a hint of how exactly you would be playing this game and C-Made the lead charater look badass :P

Orc cinematic from Warcraft III was awesome.

I always liked the opening cinematic for Diablo 2... it earned the title 'cinematic'.

And, of course, the "Jenkins video" cutscene from Halo. I first played the level at 10 PM, and it totally freaked me out.

the only reason i can't beat em is because i have to use quina who i haven't used or leveld up since the end of disc one

What about all of MGS and MGS2? :)

The original Worms had funny ones too.

The Colony Wars trilogy had loads of cool scenes.

I liked the opening scene to Myth. Not so much because the graphics were cool, it was regular handrawn animation IIRC, but the quality of the voice acting in that game appealed to me.

All worms games had awesome cutscenes.

And was it Colony Wars or another game where the intro had SGA's in a fire-fight with humans?

Colony wars.

I always loved Diablo II's ending for a good cinema. Thief was very nice as well...hell the game was fun as well.

Right now, have no one personal best.

DOA3 :P

On that note...Soul Edge/Blade had a great intro video

Too bad they didn't do one for Soul Calibur...here's hoping for SC2.

But you have Zidane! Quina sucked for me too, I only had it level 15, and it got taken out in 2 rounds, if Zidane is high enough level though, you should be able to win without Quina.
