Speakers Scribbles (not recommended for low bandwidth)
I was going to call this something like 'Speaker seeks accolades for his drawings of cartoon characters' or something, but I don't want accolades, I genuinely seek constructive criticism wherever possible. I know there are many many problems with my pictures and would appreciate anything you fellows can say to help me improve, since I am too cheap to buy posters and use them to decorate my room .
Mostly fanart at the moment, I can't say whether that is likely to change.
OK first off a scene from Bladed_Crescents Children of Heaven which can be found in the fanfics section and is recommended for anyone who likes EPIC space battles and pompous genocidal aliens.
Second a character from published works, His Imperial Highness the 11th Prince Lelouche Vi Britannia, alias Lelouche Lamperouge (Code Geass)
Something from my own mind, Horus steels himself to defend his lands from the dark figure of the God of Israel

Re: Speakers Scribbles (not recommended for low bandwidth)
Not sure if this is necromancy considering the nature of this thread, but I will post a new post anyway. I have not been able to post anything here for the last month due to being unable to upload anything onto my computer, that situation is now rectified.
I have been attempting to draw proper scenes with multiple characters, let's see how badly I messed them up.
From Michael Moorecock's The Jewel in the Skull, Dorian Hawkmoon (centre) is brought before the shrivelled King-Emperor Huon of Granbretan (also centre, the thing with the big head) by Barons Meliadus (left, wolf) and Kalaan (right, snake). The King-Emperor is a thousand years old and sustained by his arcane throne globe, and guarded at all times by the elite Order of the Mantis.
From Avatar; The Last Airbender, Aang and Katara (the title character and one of his companions) on some godforsaken island find themselves surrounded by soldiers of the Fire Nation.
Sorry about the quality of images, I have to take these on my camera before uploading them.

Moar pictures
Mulkar? Mulkarian? Mulkaroid? A spectacularly unpleasant alien from Bladed_Crescents Children of Heaven
Sorry about the quality on this one, this was the best picture I could get of it. Sir Suzaku Kururugi and Princess Euphemia Li Britannia from Code Geass.

I never knew that the Mulkari were grotesque and hideous tentacle-faced elephantine locus-proportioned... things. I always thought they resembled those bad guys from Megas XLR. But good job though, that thing you drew looks like something out of Stephen King's The Mist movie.

Re: Speakers Scribbles (not recommended for low bandwidth)
THe story says they have tentacles instead of humanoid arms, I can't remember the description exactly but I think he said the bigger tentacles were on their faces. Yeah, Bladed_Crescent doesn't describe the look of his things in that great detail, which is good for interpretive purposes, either one of us could be right.

Awesomesauces! I just ran across this thread by happenstance. I never expected fanart to materialized this long after. Thanks muchly, speaker-to-trolls!
As an addendum for any interested parties (hope springs eternal): Truth be told, way back when I started the series, I did write up a physical description of the Mulkari, but I left it out, since there was no real good place to put it in. Anyways, here and now's as good a time and place as any, I suppose.

Mulkari Physiology wrote:Biologically, the Mulkari species is carbon-based and breathes an oxygen/nitrogen mixture common to many of the inhabited worlds in the galaxy. Examination of the bodies of crew and passengers of destroyed sleeper fleets has revealed intriguing facts about the Mulkari species: their lower torso could best be described as that of a ‘centaur’, with four muscular legs, each ending in a splayed, clawed foot. Their hides are covered with a layer of small, smooth scales, with dentata so fine that it gives them the appearance of having fur. These dentata appear to function similar to whiskers in Terran mammals, allowing the Mulkari to sense the disturbance of air currents caused by the presence of prey species.
Situated low – just above where the ribcage would be on the ‘human’ part of a centaur’s body – are two short, stubby hands. Despite their size, these limbs are quite strong and appeared designed to hold struggling prey and, despite their short reach, can be used as manipulatory appendages.
The Mulkari head is oval, with a pair of deep-set eyes ideal for binocular vision. By all accounts, Mulkari eyesight is excellent. Their mouth is located on the underside of their skull, much like a shark’s, and operates in much the same manner; when biting, the Mulkari will tip their heads back and jut their mouths forward, to sink their teeth into their prey. However, this appears to be an ancestral behaviour trait; when not attacking prey animals, they will use the four pairs of tentacles that bracket either side of their jaws to hold food or manipulate eating utensils.
These tentacles are the Mulkari’s primary method of manipulating their environment and in some specimens, can be up to three feet long. They are also incredibly strong, easily capable of matching the human arm. Mulkari have been seen holding and firing pistols and even rifles with their tentacles, though larger weapons with greater recoil must be braced against their torsos. They might appear comical, but a Mulkari soldier is just as great a threat as their human counterparts can be.

Over the last few months the device by which I transfer pictures from my camera to the computer has been inoperative, hence this thread has degenerated. Fortunately I now have access to a scanner, which actually gives much better quality uploads. Win.

I did this sketch a few months ago as an excercise in drawing faces. The face in question in General Sir Andreas Darlton from (oh Christ not) Code Geass (again, goddamn fanboy).
I know I've done something wrong because he seems to have a serious excess of face around his cheekbones.

A vague scene from somewhere in my own mind. Immortals of the Dynastic Race arrive at some new land and check out the scenery. There is the shadow of a backstory to these creatures, but it's so vague that I barely know what it is.

^Pff, my mind is fine, at least I hope so, there is far, far more unnerving stuff that passes through it than that.
Anyway, here is my latest sketch which may or may not be worthy of your attention.

And I have moar pictures!
This thing is called a Typhoon Giant, or Serepid, a shapeshifting creature from a haphazardly constructed fantasy world with the power to control the weather. Obviously it can in theory take any form it wants, provided it's the same size or smaller than the one it starts from, but in practice shapeshifting is difficult, and most spend most of their time as something like this, since it allows them both flight and manual dexterity, even if it makes them a bit ungainly on land and not as good at flying as birds.
