Actually, ver, Janus was from Roman myth. I've never seen him in any stories, though, so I guess he was originally Etruscan.
Zaia, there was a Janus in the Narnia books? I don't remember reading that. Although my memory could be, and probably is, slipping.

Fragment of the Lord of Nightmares, release thy heavenly retribution. Blade of cold, black nothingness: become my power, become my body. Together, let us walk the path of destruction and smash even the souls of the Gods! RAGNA BLADE!

Don't underestimate the abilities of any potential internet stalkers. I've known enough people who have had themNah, not too much, anyway. You're too far away to do anything that would truly worry me.
Besides which, its not like I haven't had to interact with "altered states" people myself (avoids looking at Durandal)
You mistake "jaded amusement" for "discomfort." It'll take a helluva lot more than a couple winks to discomfit me.My apologies, dear sir. Didn't mean to make you uncomfortable with my flirtatiousness... I'll stop now.
Dialup?Ok, I'll check it out as soon as my internet stops crapping out on me.
I tell lots of people to bite me. Its my standard comeback when I cant think of something more creative.Hah, and you said you were immune to my flirtations.
If you want to turn it into a flirtation, be my guest
What storm? where I am there's several inches of snow on the ground and a chilly wind.Mmm, sounds lovely! Toss in some cuddlin' on a couch next to a fireplace, and I'll be set for this storm that's a-comin'.
As for the cuddlin on the couch and fireplace - I have the fireplace and couch.. hafta rummage around for the cuddling (although I suspect you would have no shortage of volunteers. )
How bout marshmallows for the cocoa?
I can't come up with anything that Pisces sounds good with, without making me sound like a fruity Zen whore or something...[/quote]

I do believe there was an IIRC in there somewhere... besides, I'm not all that big on Roman myths, for one, and for two, it's been a while since I last studied Janus.Darth Yoshi wrote:Actually, ver, Janus was from Roman myth. In The Magician's Nephew (the one about the creation of Narnia and the rest of that world)--she's the witch that Diggory and Polly wake up in another world, before stumbling into Narnia. There's a bell with a hammer or something, and a whole bunch of people at a table who are frozen in time or something (they all look like wax statues, anyway), and Diggory hits the bell, and she wakes up and ends up back in England with them and wreaks havoc all over London, and then they end up witnessing the creation of Narnia...Darth Yoshi wrote:Zaia, there was a Janus in the Narnia books? Sound familiar at all? I think her name is spelled Janis, though, in the book... But it's close.

Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!

Lets face it, we have enough to blackmail each other, we should call a truce right?

Why not?
It'll please those that want "demon" and those that don't.
XaLEv: Maybe Onihime-san would be better, as I could never see Zaia being subordinate.

I believe in a sign of Zeta.
