Eventually games are going to stop being XP compatible. Is it a DX10 issue for this or something? I know there was a big fuss about Halo2 PC when it came out and being vista-only. But I really am not surprised more games are going that way these days.

Well its not really a question of more games - this is what, the only game to do this so far?

As for the issue, the game is DX10 only.

The fuss about Halo 2 was both the fact that they made it Vista only to try and get people to switch, and also that the game wasn't really DX10 at all as was claimed, it was just a bullshit invented requirement and you could hack the game to work on XP easily.

The first game was ambitious but seemed to lack a real sense of environment. The world was incredibly static and boring, which was sad for a game clearly trying so hard to be a ton of fun.

I know, I got it expecting a lot more. It's not bad bad, but it wasn't as explosively awesome as it was supposed to be. Maybe they've learnt.
