I have Windows ME and it does this really annoying auto-resizing thing to standalone pictures. Is that your problem? You can turn it off by hovering the mouse over the pic for a second and then clicking the button that appears in the lower-right corner of the pic.

Actually, "Here is of Old the Witch-Realm of Valdemar" is from the note on the ME Map "Here is of Old the Witch-Realm of Angmar". So you don't get a mountain range, you get an extinct evil kingdom and are possibly now a Nazgul. :)

Y'know, you can turn it off permanently too. They have this thing called 'options'.
