Steam is a piece of software that catalogs games, lets you 'buy' them (rent indefinitely) and download them to whatever computer you access the Steam account with. You then play the game through the Steam software.
I have a Steam Account in good standing. It has the two games in the title: Team Fortress 2 and STALKER: Clear Sky. TF2 is a team based multiplayer shooter. STALKER is a single player shooter with RPG elements. I don't play them. I would like to give them away, but you cannot gift games that you own from your Steam account. There is nothing stopping me from giving away the whole team account, though. If you would like it, or know somebody who would like it, please PM me so I can give you the account name and password.

Read the Steam terms of use.
Sounds like a good way of getting it deactivated. When you complete Steam's registration process, you create a Steam account ("Account"). Your Account may also include billing information you provide to us for the purchase of Subscriptions. You are solely responsible for all activity on your Account and for the security of your computer system. You may not reveal, share or otherwise allow others to use your password or Account. You agree that you are personally responsible for the use of your password and Account and for all of the communication and activity on Steam that results from use of your login name and password. You may not sell or charge others for the right to use your Account, or otherwise transfer your Account.

If Feil changes the attached email addresses they'll never know or care.

If it's illegal, I remove the offer, so as not to involve this board in any such activity. Meh.
EDIT: And Stark is quite correct. There is no associated billing information (the games were gifts), I created and associated a new email address before making the offer, changed account name and password, removed friends and such limited profile information as I had entered... The only way they would ever care is if some Steam employee is camped outside my window spying on my this very minute. But I know and respect this board's policy on anything and everything illegal, so if it is, it is.

Indeed. We do not openly condone open discussion of breaching terms of use.
