Religious people (and religious high school students) are sometimes really big assholes. Who has the most assholes?

Ah, but which ones are more influential. The mass #s of fundies will impact US laws and regulations. Meaning more religion in govt. Violence is one thing but their influence is more damaging.

It depends on where you live. Religious asshole density tends to be proportional to religious influence: the more influential the religion, the higher the density of religious assholes.

Religious assholes are much more common in the American Deep South because of the prevalence of Christian fundamentalism. Religious assholes were omnipresent in Europe during the Dark Ages because Christian theocracies ruled much of Europe. Today, in regions of weak or liberalized Christian influence (thank the separation of church and state), Christians tend to be kinder and gentler.

Similarly, Muslim assholes are much more common in places like Saudi Arabia, because of the influence and power of Islamo-fascism.

So, basically, the religious group with the highest proportion of assholes will generally be the group which has the most influence in your local region.

Theres been a street war going on in india for a while between Muslim Religious assholes and hindu religious assholes. Hows that for density, prehaps you americans could ship the creationists out there too, put up CCTV cameras everywhere and put it on pay-per-view?

Baptists, I live in the Deep South, Louisiana, you can't get deeper than thar(literally I live 35 miles from the coast) it's mostly Catholic in my Religion cause the Brits deported us from Canada 300 years ago. But still, not many Baptists here they're quite vocal us Catholics don't go around saying "Fear, my God you evil Non-Christian, or Catholic, etc. etc." Especially, the high school kids talking all kind bullshit on the way to Senior High, I don't try to make a rebuttal through their dense skulls. I know they're good Baptists out there just not enough of them.

I'm originally from the midwest. Every smalltown has AT LEAST a 25% population of christian assholes. And the even smaller towns are closer to 90%. And ALL of their brainwashed kids went to my HIGH SCHOOL.

A lot of comrades here mtnioned how so many religions tend to be assholish (and I'm not even talking Islam here.) How very much interesting, yes ?

However, religions are opening up this day, and even the strict Catholic CHurch is becoming more open. I know this as, I myself am a Catholic (when I'm Atreides), but, i am at liberty to hold my own views ( I remain a Catholic for only 2 reasons, and I wn't mention them here.) Even Islam, is not ass-hollish at all: only those damned orthodox ones, like Wahhabbism, and those that the assasins follow, are really ass-holles.

Notably, I also don't like pagans, because, coming to think of it, they hardly differ from Creationists. there stuff about an Earth Goddess, Nature, this and that, are conrtradictions to variable degrees. If I were a real Wiccan, I'd live totally naked in a forest, and not do all those stupiud rituals. I'd also be totally divorced from modern life, i.e. computers, et cetera.

No, none of the religions above are assholish. Even the great Jedi religion has its truths. The only real ass-holes are those that are orthodox, and resist some important changes.

But all of the above is just my opinion, comrades.
