And as for Protesters, here's this-- not especially thelast of the photos, which is about in the center of the document... is history repeating itself?

Yes, it's repeating itself. Some people learn nothing from history.

But I particularly liked the second photo from the top. The sign read: "Who needs oil? I ride the bus."

Holy cow! They're not just ignorant of history; they're STUPID!

maybe the person with the sign is from stuttgart, hamburg, or some metrompol in luxemburg, portugal, netherlands, spain, UK, sweden or island and is talking about the near future.

all these cities and countries just bought a bunch of these hydrogen fuel cell busses and are currently experementing with them and gathering information. a dimler-chrysler sub company called evobus produces them.

so, who needs oil? i drive the bus.

This pictures were taken at a protest in Talahassee, Florida. And what makes you think those new vehicles will completely end dependence on petroleum? These things still need oil and grease as lubricants for their chassis, transmissions, etc. and petroleum is still the cheapest source of this, not to mention the thousands of other petroleum products we all use in our daily lives.

No, I'm afraid the protester in that photograph was just a blithering idiot.
