The DRDs from Farscape and the Scutters from Red Dwarf ought to count. I loved those little guys!

Well Lt Corwyn from B5 and Walter from SG have already been mentioned and I suspect Wedge Antilles stopped being a background character a long time ago, so I nominate Brother Theo.

'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
'You know, for a guy with like 50 different kinds of vision, you sure are blind.'

Amelia Banks from Stargate Atlantis. She was just one of those minor control room characters who had the job of pushing buttons and announcing that something bad is happening. Then when Michael takes over the city she helps Ronon out by kickboxing the hell out of a hybrid that just about pasted him. Awesome.

You mean Lou Welch? Aye, he was a decent character. Incidentally he reappears in Peter Davids Centauri Prime booksFaxModem1 wrote:For Babylon 5, I'm going to go with Lou Walsh(who just kind of disappeared in season 2), and David Corwin, he was there as a tech from the beginning of season 1 and eventually got a name and became XO to Lochley.
