The Massive Appears in the Star Trek Galaxy
A few days after Nemesis Q stops by Starfleet HQ and the capital of every other major power in the galaxy to tell them that in ten years an unknown threat will arrive to attempt to conquer the entire galaxy. So ten years later and right on time ROB throws the flagship of the Irken Empire The Massive into the Star Trek galaxy. The Massive appears above an out of the way world in the Alpha Quadrant that has been turned into a factory planet by ROB. The Irkens have two hours prep time before several hundred Federation ships arrive to investigate the anomaly detected when the Irkens appeared.
Bonus Scenario: Star Trek and Irken forces are made competent and ST is given all of its high end ship and firepower numbers etc.etc.
Who wins?

'The Massive' and the Irken Empire being from where and capable of what exactly, if you could be bothered? Hard as that may be for you to believe not everybody here has read or played every piece of SciFi writing/gaming there is
You might also want to specify what you mean by high end, especially for the Trek side where I'm concerned. High end as in the best you can get from canon material, as in the best ever STATED in canon material wether or not we never actually SEE those numbers achieved, as in the best stated in noncanon but otherwise official (what would be the Trek EU if it had such a thing) material, or as in the best some random nutjob on the internet came up with for a fanfic?

The Irken Empire is from the show Invader Zim and The Massive is the flagship of the Armada from which the Almighty Tallest oversee Operation Impending Doom II... The Conquest of the entire UNIVERSE! Just search for the "Irken Empire" to find some old threads about it here.Batman wrote:'The Massive' and the Irken Empire being from where and capable of what exactly, if you could be bothered? Highest possible firepower from the shows for ST. Don't get me started on what the a single Irken outcast could do.
*Watches single Irken outcast drain out all the molten innards of the Earth in only a couple minutes before using Energy-Matter Converters to replace it all with its mass in snack food*

Operation Impending Doom III: Multi-versal conquest
Let me see, showings for the Irkens.
1. Industry: In “Battle of the Planets of Doom” Zim discovers that the planet Mars was turned into a giant space ship by its former inhabitants just because it was “cool”. They used the planet Mercury as a test bed for it first.
In “Tak, the Hideous New Girl” Tak arrived on Earth to attempt to steal it from Zim. Her plan was to use a massive pump to drain the mantle and core of the Earth out into space and then fill it up with snacks. The facts:
1. Tak was able to pump out the innards of the planet within only a couple minutes.
2. Her base was nowhere near big enough to hold enough snacks to fill the interior of the Earth back up again. Given the ship storage device seen the episode where Zim was taken back to Foodcourtia and we see a Matter-Energy Converter this pretty much proves they have Energy-Matter Converters also which would fits in nicely here.
We also know the Irkens have entire planets with a single purpose ranging from Foodcourtia where it is nothing but fast-food, Conventia the Convention Hall planet with its giant orbital docking ring, the planet with the FTL cannons that ship things everywhere and even Storage planets.
2. Weapons systems and firepower: In the episode “Planet Jackers” the Planet Jackers enclose the Earth and Moon into mini-Dyson spheres to haul them off to throw into their sun. The sidepods on Zim’s Voot Cruiser were able to cut through this sphere in less than a minute. The calcs done for this at SB put the low end at around 600GT/s for what is basically an Irken Delivery Truck that Zim was allowed after he had been banished. Given the size of a Maim Bot which is a purely military vehicle your looking at high Teraton to low Petaton firepower and most likely high Petaton to possible low Exaton firepower for GROUND COMBAT vehicles, which fits nicely with Invader Skoodge without any armor surviving an impact that left damage easily seen from orbit.
3. Durability: In “Backseat Drivers from Beyond the Stars” The Massive is taken control of via remote control from Earth by Zim and is flown through several galaxies on its path to Earth. We see it ram through several planets (mass scattering them on impact without so much as denting the hull) and then the star, and the only resulting damage was the paint being scorched by the star.
“Battle of the Planets of Doom” Zim attempts to use Mars to squish out all life on Earth and an Earth SODA CAN was able to hold the entire mass of the planet Mars with minimum damage.
That’s all I got for know.
Edit: Hey!* Shakes Iron Fist of Doom* If your going to vote for ST give a reason for it winning against a ship the size of a small planet at least.

Re: The Massive Appears in the Star Trek Galaxy
ROB? Given what we do see of the Irken Empire from the show, Trek is probably getting curbstomped.
Part of the problem with the Zim verse is that there's very little consistency to it.
In “Backseat Drivers from Beyond the Stars” The Massive runs over a small planet, and then through a star. But in “Battle of the Planets of Doom” we see Mars run through their invasion fleet at the end of the episode which includes several hundred ships of the same type as the Massive.
In “Tak, the Hideous New Girl” Zim uses his Voot cruiser to go after Tak while flying through the debris of the Earth's mantle and core. But in "Attack of the Saucer Morons" The Voot Cruiser crashes and burns when it's hit by a bumblebee.
The Borg assimilating Gir would be pretty damn hilarious. "WE ARE THE BORG, WE NEED TACOS OR WE WILL EXPLODE. THAT HAPPENS TO US SOMETIMES"

Re: The Massive Appears in the Star Trek Galaxy
Comedic animation does have that wonderful inconsistency in power for the sake of comedy. To add another instance, "Ultra Pipi" withstood the barrage of Zim's ship to standard Kaiju annoyance at super-weapon.
On they other hand, they have "Parking Structure Planets."

Justice League- Molly Hayes: Respect Hats or Freakin' Else!

Supernatural Taisen - "[This Story] is essentially "Wouldn't it be awesome if this happened?" Followed by explosions."
Reviewing movies is a lot like Paleontology: The Evidence is there...but no one seems to agree upon it.

Re: The Massive Appears in the Star Trek Galaxy
My approach is that since Invader Zim is an animated sci-fi comedy, this debate is not a serious one. Therefore the Massive is vulnerable to Trek weapons under one condition: it has to be cool/funny in some way. Therefore Ben Sisko's Motherfuckin' Pimp Hand, by virtue of Chuck's hilarious "design history of the Defiant" segment to his ODS9EG review of "Siege of AR-558", can in fact damage it and blast open its snack food containers. And Zim certainly thought such would drive the Tallest into a panic of "Retreat!".
Granted, I only voted for Trek for the lulz.
Reason given.Invader Taz wrote: Edit: Hey!* Shakes Iron Fist of Doom* If your going to vote for ST give a reason for it winning against a ship the size of a small planet at least.

You sure those were not the smaller Viral Tanks we see Zim's Voot Cruiser fly over at the start of the show? Plus you have to remember it had been turned into a giant spaceship just because it was "cool", so it could also have been reinforced for ramming things until they give up.phred wrote:ROB? Ah, but you are forgeting "That was no HUMAN Bee!" it hit the windshield and set the engines on fire without being anywhere near them and didn't just go splat like it should have when it hit the windshield. I agree with Zim that it was no normal/HUMAN Bee.In “Tak, the Hideous New Girl” Zim uses his Voot cruiser to go after Tak while flying through the debris of the Earth's mantle and core. @Majin Gojira as I recall didn't Zim say he had his weapons dial down in that eps when attacking?
