Anyone else think "Erste" in an Asuka voice in that Japanese garden scene with Iron Man and War Machine getting surrounded by production models from (supposedly) the US Navy and Stark promptly smacking a fist through one's chest?

Suitcase suit: a horribly campy idea successfully (and believably) modernized. Bravo on the Mark IV!
Also: interesting that the Constrictor-esque guy is apparently not going to be the main draw. I had been wondering how an unarmored guy with electric whips was supposed to give Iron Man a run for his money...

I'm looking forward to this.

Never saw Rourke as being the main antagonist anyway given, at the end of the day, a guy with a rifle will drop him. He's merely making a point at Monte Carlo, but only when Sam Rockwell turns up does he become a threat, it seems.

Also, isn't the new suit with the comic book's triangular chest plate window the Mk. IV?

I have no idea; I didn't realize that the "normal" suit had changed since the first movie. I've got a poster on my wall, listing Mk's 1-3, with 3 being the "final" version from the previous film.

I guess he rebuilt it into a new design, in-between films (rather than just repairing the previous version)?
