Has anyone else even imaged the concept or considered writting a fanfic. How would people imagine such an alternate reality. I've been brainstorming one that takes place around AotC.
Off the top of my head, the basic changes are this. The Jedi are not really a dominate power in the galaxy and act more like a myth. My primary villian would be a more evil and twisted version of Amidala, and she'd be the corruptive of what little republic there is. Anakin would not had lived a slave, but living the life of a farmer prior to being drafted by the planetary army which is ruled by the fair and wise Jabba the Hutt. Chewbacca (I think he's alive during this era) would be a bounty hunter. C-3PO, with some work, could actually seat himself as an Ewok diety. I got some other wierd ideas like this, but it's slowly working into a story.
Any comments?

When I first saw this Thread title, I was thinking that this would be a story about an alternate Star Wars universe, similair to Star Trek's Mirror Mirror. But that would just be weird, becuase Palpywould be a benevolent dictator, and the Rebelion would be evil, and it would all be so damn fucked up.
Yeah, I'm sure it's doable but for me that would have little working room. And I'm not much for alternate universes that are just the exact inverse of each other. But I'm sure my ideas are fucked up enough as it is.Singular Quartet wrote:When I first saw this Thread title, I was thinking that this would be a story about an alternate Star Wars universe, similair to Star Trek's Mirror Mirror. Sounds interesting.
I have a few suggestions myself.
1. E,pire and Rebel roles in "Mirror Star Wars".............
The Empire could be like a galaxy-wide "democratic empire" where people aren't killed for disagreeing with emperor's policies... no BDZ or stuff like that just for minor dissent.
The Rebels could be like Al Quaeda and Mon Mothma could be similiar to Osama Bin Laden, using terrorism to bring down the Empire, and create chaos.
Or if the "terrorist" idea doesn't pan out, then you could make Mon Mothma like "Sith Mothma" or something evil like that.
As for pre-empire... maybe have Padme / Amidala become like Palpatine, then have a son. Fits kinda well, considering that Padme could still marry Anakin, and have Luke as their son like in "canon" but as Darth Nemesis, like in Stravo's fan fic.
Padme does what "canon" Palpatine does, while Palpatine does what "canon" Padme does. Just throwing around some suggestions. But is an interesting premise.

force users have played a huge role in SW
an AU could havethe pre Empiregovernment dealing with the emergence of a superpowered race of beings,
wait that sounds like x men, o well.....

Let me rephrase that; in my AU, there wouldn't be a wide-spread cult of Force Users like the Jedi Knight with the republic. It would be more like the orginal trilogy where there are only a few handful, plus I might focus of other groups besides the Sith and Jedi, maybe (who knows).Darth Fanboy wrote:force users have played a huge role in SW

Ohhh Ohhh, have it so the Sith defeat the Jedi, and the Jedi have to adopt the "Only two there are, a master and an apprentice" And then the two Jedi work in secret.
Or not
