Dalek Designs [Spoilers].

Post by Big Orange »

OK, as with the TARDIS interior, the Doctor's overused and iconic foes, the Daleks, have also been given a bright, toy box revamp.

Lookie here... (don't look if you don't want to)

I'm not sure about their hull bases, but their weaponry and domes look alright - I'm less sure of their possible redesign than I am about the new TARDIS design (which is a feast on the eyes). The RTD Daleks had the right balance in being essentially like the old Daleks with a big budget 21st century gloss, but without being overdesigned and built, looking very solid, threatening, and real.

'Secondly, I don't see why "income inequality" is a bad thing. Poverty is not an injustice. There is no such thing as causes for poverty, only causes for wealth. Poverty is not a wrong, but taking money from those who have it to equalize incomes is basically theft, which is wrong.' - Typical Randroid

'I think it's gone a little bit wrong.' - The Doctor

They look kinda like old Dalek toy designs from the sixties. Nice and retro, IMO.

That was my first thought as well. Old toys from the Cushing movies. Not bad, although I do prefer the design of the TW era Daleks.
