What would make it scary is if that soldier could convince others not to accept the results of a national election. Worse if it happened to be a general. Fortunately, things are nowhere near that sort of pass in this country, and the odd officer like Col. Lakin ends up paying the price for his folly.
If that happened there probably WOULD be executions at the end of it all. We can only hope that it would be the rebelling soldiers at the end of the volley.

War of aggression.
Wait Flagg, how does a war of aggression relate to Obama being an allegedly illegal president? He didn't declare war on Afghanistan Bush started the ball rolling with his war on terror. Is the argument here that Obama continuing deployment is illegal, that anyone continuing it is illegal, or that such an action is somehow Obama's fault?

Or another option I'm not seeing. :?:

And that's why they're addressing this right now. There are no direct orders from the President to this particular soldier, or he'd be screaming bloody murder about it I suspect. Instead he's just trying to make himself famous so he can get on the talk show circuit.

Instead all he's going to get is a dishonorable discharge, and even for a doctor, that's going to look pretty gruesome on a resume.
Steel, on nBSG's finale: "I'd liken it to having a really great time with these girls, you go back to their place, think its going to get even better- suddenly there are dicks everywhere and you realise you were in a ladyboy bar all evening."

IIRC a dishonorable discharge prevents the person from working for any place which does business with the federal government. He's going to have a fun time being a physician who can't work someplace that takes Medicare or Medicade.

God I hate retards...

Go further up the thread where we were talking about one Lt Watada and you'll see this:

Different situation. Watada believed a war he was being sent to was illegal (and there are some pretty good arguments on his side), not that the person giving the orders to deploy wasn't legitimately entitled to give said orders.

That being said, I think the proper course of action in both cases would be to deploy while your court case against deploying for whatever reason was being heard. Except for the birther, he should be reassigned to "Operation Human Shield".
If you still can't figure this shit out, then I don't know how to help you.
