Is that supposed to be Abigor? I'd always imagined him and the other Archdukes as having much broader shoulders and pronounced chest. Sorta like this.
Still, it's awesome and it certainly fits what I think the average demon soldier would look.

That's a bit too cartoony, IMO. But I agree: that's how the normal infantry demon would look like.General Schatten wrote:Is that supposed to be Abigor? I'd always imagined him and the other Archdukes as having much broader shoulders and pronounced chest. Sorta like this.

Well, they're supposed to be gengineered/selectively bred humans, so i don't think Beelzebub would be an insect. As for Dagon, he's seen walking around in Dis when it's under siege, in the later parts of the curbstomp war, so he can't be a merman. Unless he like, has a merman tail as well as legs, which might be cool...Nematocyst wrote: About the other Archdukes, I wonder if they looked like their usual depictions. For example, Beelzebub is a big insect, Dagon is a merman, etc.
I believe Book 3, from what Stuart has droped is best summed up as "We've conquered Heaven and Hell, now what do we do with them? Oh shit." possibly also we might meet the devils mentioned here and there and members of other pantheons. I'd also like to see something doe with the "orcs" who apparently were the original inhabitants of Hell. For that matter why haven't we seen anything involving integrating them into our armed forces. I was simply talking about the basic anatomy sans the head. It's not to include the firebreathing, flaming whip, and vorpal sword.Nematocyst wrote:That's a bit too cartoony, IMO. But I agree: that's how the normal infantry demon would look like.
Actually, Stuart intends to publish this story someday, so the assembly and printing of a Word document would be considered a copyright violation. Please try to content yourself with reading it on-line, until such time as the dead-tree version becomes available.kosst amojan wrote:Hello, new guy here.
I asked Stuart this but hopefully he's too busy writing, anyway a friend of mine recommended that I check out these stories and after reading the first chapter of Armageddon I realized how awesome it is...then I found Stravo's compilation and realized it was practically as long as a book. No problem I thought, I'll just read it in my ereader.
However after cutting and pasting the first 3 or 4 chapters from the first story from thread into a word document, that got kind of old quick. So I was wondering if any of you had the story compiled somewhere and you could send it to me? If you do, please PM me so I can send you my e-mail Thanks.
Didn't know that, I guess it kinda makes sense. Though I don't know of a publisher that would be happy that the story he's trying to sell is posted for free online.Darth Wong wrote: Actually, Stuart intends to publish this story someday, so the assembly and printing of a Word document would be considered a copyright violation. We don't exactly know what it is, but we do know for sure he was never on Earth.Spekio wrote: Have we learned what Jesus is?
If he is an angel, because then we couldn't have *really* killed him. If Human/Nephilim, then he wouldn't be able to stay in earth for too long(since he would be dead, had we killed him or not,due to old age).
Perhaps he could be a young version of what Yaweh/Satan is.
Could you please point me to the part that says that Jesus was nerver phisically on earth?Nematocyst wrote:We don't exactly know what it is, but we do know for sure he was never on Earth.Spekio wrote: Have we learned what Jesus is?

At least, not personally. The 'Jesus' the Romans killed was a human possessed by actual Jesus. It was his Avatar, if you will.
Jesus possesses people. That's probably easy for him to do, but if the Jesus of mythology being some random guy being possessed ends up as canon (is that what you meant?) then this story will enter a whole new level of subverting religion. Which, as an atheist, i consider awesome. Also, as someone who likes messing with the agreed dogma. Because posessing a dude is like mind rape.Nematocyst wrote:We don't exactly know what it is, but we do know for sure he was never on Earth.Spekio wrote: Have we learned what Jesus is?

Stuart said so himself, off-story.Spekio wrote:Could you please point me to the part that says that Jesus was nerver phisically on earth?

Even better: it was the reanimated corpse of ChristSo i guess when he was resurrected, that would be...
actual jesus using mind powers to look like random-possessed-guy-jesus?
some other random guy who looks pretty similar, given stigmata and possessed?
Oh hell yes. So Zombie Jesus actually was Zombie Jesus? win.Nematocyst wrote:Possession works on EM impulses, subverting them to the possessor's will, doesn't it? Jesus kept possessing Christ even after he died by feeding him impulses, keeping his body alive. Think super possession.

I might try my hand at something for book three in spite of vehement denials of any plans to do anything...don't know if it'll even be passable writing, but I'll at least try to make the attempt.JN1 wrote:Stu does accept contributions from other authors, so if you are so inclined add a Canadian scene. Some of the non-US scenes in Armageddon were written by others, as were some of the earlier parts of Pantheocide.
I've been a bit too busy with my own work to contribute much this time around.
Nah. The bank just showed up. He was re-possessed.[/bad pun]RowanE wrote:Oh hell yes. Did that and with extensive use of formatting and find/replace, ended up with a halfway decent html.Seggybop wrote:Try hitting "print view"
you'll have a much easier time with that
