The old earth theory came from calculations of the rates of erosion and cooling long before Darwin, I believe.Evolutionists claim that the Earth and the solar system is about 4.55 billion years old (plus or minus about 1%). They believe this amount of time is necessary for all the life forms on earth to evolve.
After all, only a small fraction of scientists are creationists, and I'm sure an even smaller fraction are YECs.The truth is, many well qualified Scientists, and lay people alike are well justified in their belief that the earth, and universe is quite young.
So? That only proves that the oldest trees are a few thousand years old, not the Earth. The oldest living trees are only a few thousand years old
Perhaps it was because this "savior" didn't exist? But if man has been here living in sin for millions of years, then why would God wait so long to send a Savior?
I'm sure someone else could do better.
I'm guessing that because the ant is a fucking moron. Why should we send a tank to step on an ant

Even according to the Bible, God still waited 4000 years. Thats a good chunk of time by human standards, although its a miniscule fraction of the age of the Earth.Asst. Asst. Lt. Cmdr. This is absolutely pathetic. Even his strawmans are based off of strawmans. Humans have existed on the Earth for about 200,000 years, not "millions." This idiot is so stupid that he cannot even consider the possibility that the planet may have been here without humans on it for a long, long time.
It must be hard to go through life being an idiot. The funny thing is that these idiots cannot even keep their ignorance to themselves; they have to advertise it.

I just sent a letter to this bozo. Here it is:
"Hi,
Just a quick question for you. After having a look at your page, I just wanted to ask you a quick question. What is your educational background and what credentials, if any, do you possess?
Since I have B.S's in both biology and anthropology, I found your site to be quite interesting.
Thanks,
Andy"
Let's see if I can get this guy who spent "10,000 dollars" on his site into a real debate. I'll keep us posted.

It'd be laughable if not for the fact they actually believe it. I spent some time looking into the sources of what 'data' he actually provided. They were (surprise surprise) other creationists. Many of whom don't provide sources for their data. Some seem to list each other as sources for the same data.

Written on the tomb of a syrian philosopher,
"The Jews, The Muslims, and the Christians, they've all got it wrong. There are only two sorts of people. Those with brains who hold no religeon, and those with religeon and no brains"
I find it ironic that the city he's buried in (Mar'arat) was invaded in 1098, 67 years after his death, and they literally ate the muslim inhabatants.
The invaders? Europian crusaders.

It's not just christianity, there's nutjobs in every religion. I worked with a Vietnamese lady who was a devout buddhist. She was naturally a vegetarian, but she also refusd to eat garlic or onions, they were too "strong", and the spirits she prayed to wouldn't come close if they were on her breath.Admiral Johnason wrote:I ahve a question.
