Advertisment for FL Congressional candidate

Below is a page with an embedded video.

I know that lack of commentary is frowned upon here, but I don't know much about FL politics. And the video is just well...wow, epic TeaBagger trolling.

What is it with my district? First the pig Keller, then the jackass Grayson, now this douche?

Grayson is great. I was doubtful about his chances of being elected while running around as a the most active liberal Central Florida's seen in a while, especially when well-known local names like Webster have thrown their hat into the ring. I was doubtful, until I saw this guy. If this is the best the Reps can do, Grayson will literally eat them alive. He by far has the largest fundraising advantage, especially if the Reps divide themselves with a good number of candidates during the primary. It'll still be a tight race, but nothing close to the Rep curbstomp the local papers wishes it would be.

Todd Long and Kurt Kelley are the biggest names to me on the Republican primary. This is the first time I have noticed Dan Fanelli.

Looking at the election map for '08 all Grayson has to do is get the urban areas of Daytona and Orlando ACTIVE again and he can win. The interior of Central Florida went pretty solidly for Keller IIRC.

I love the reactionary racist anti-terror bleating that comes out of far-right candidates from Shitcanistan rural America; they'll never be at any direct risk of terrorists, so why don't they stay out of the hair and direct concern of not-"Real Americans" in "Communist Country" which are invariably and will always be the actual casualties and intended targets of terrorism. Funny that when it comes to education standards and climate/resource sustainability issues originating in objective science or gun policies which effect crime on a national scale they want social and political stakeholders on the socialist, liberal, elitist coastlines and urban centers to let them do whatever crawls out of their ignorant, base minds and to "get off their back". It is also funny how when it assumes their particular political and cultural purposes, they disown the decadent, liberal coasties and poor welfare bums as essentially illegitimate excrescences on the nation, which sap its strength and present them as essentially undesirables or traitors. Yet, fantastically, then pretend to be them when it suits the purposes of their war hysteria and tough-guy-at-risk-in-war projection fantasies.

You don't understand.

They DO believe that they're at direct risk of attack. Any day it could be like the opening scene of Red Dawn, except with evil liberal atheist gay Muslim Satan worshippers or something parachuting in. They genuinely believe that at any moment, the bad guys will get them and they would all be killed and their freedom taken away.

I've mentioned before that the sheriff of my hometown (population 4000, location in the middle of fucking nowhere, georgia, of no importance whatsoever, though if you need directions for a bombing run, PM me) was paranoid that Islamic terrorists were going to nuke the town during a local country music festival (attendance: up to 3000, maybe including a couple of the local hick politicians). There was a line of "reasoning" involved which I won't go into because the stupidity was painful, but he genuinely thought and believed that this little shit of a town would be an ideal location for causing the maximum amount of damage and fear, instead of, you know, any other place with a population greater than 7000 and some actual importance.

Their world is maybe sixty miles in diameter and they're at the center of it. Ignorant, full of themselves, and told all their lives that the devil/the entire outside world is out to get them personally.

The third web ad closes with the main title theme to the second Dirty Harry movie Magnum Force on the soundtrack. How much more cliched can you get?
