Games workshop Audios (Spoilers)

What do people think of the games work ship CDs which have been released over about the last year or so?

I only have the The Horus Heresy ones so far (The Raven's flight, The Dark King and The Lightning Tower). There dramatic readings rather than proper plays but they seem to have picked some of the most 'kick ass' Horus Heresy stories to do in Audio. Raven's flight in particular is probably shows one of the most superhuman versions of the Primarchs seen in the series with Corax taking a lascannon to the chest without stopping, ripping tanks apart with his bare hands, using a heavy bolter like a pistol and killing dozens of space marines including terminators with little effort. Curze is equally epic in The dark king when killing his guards. The Lightning tower stands out from the others as being a rather more introspective piece which might have worked better in print.

Beyond the spectical the stories themselves are quite good and generally fit into the other Horus Heresy stories well. The Raven's flight in particular shows the relationship between humans and spacemarines seen in various other novels and Valerius's speach about marines needing humans highlites the views of the two groups.

How are the other Audio stories that Games Workship have produced, I've heard generally good things about them but what do other people think? I'd be keen on actual full cast audio plays being produced rather than dramatic readings, what do other people think?

I thought Thunder from Fenris was pretty meh, but The Dark King/Lightning Tower and Raven´s flight were good.

The Officer begging the Space Marine commander or whatever to let him go check Istvaan because he really, really has a hunch in Raven´s Flight was hilariously bad, though.

Are there any transcriptions available of these? I'm deaf so it's painful seeing all this apparently cool-ish audio material out there, dangling in front of my eyes...

I thought there were special edition prints of The Dark King/The Lightning Tower.
