Then why get so defensive about it? More over, in all you search for knowledge, how did you not come to correct it? Even if you're right and it was simply a mistake on your part, why include that detail anyhow? You're talking an awful lot...avianmosquito wrote:It was an assumption I made at the time and never bothered to correct. That much should make sense. (Or more accurately, it should be understandable at the least)
So you wanted to brag to a bunch of strangers that you killed three people. Presumably to try and add an air of verisimilitude to your bleatings, but really that goes with what the Cpl said and I've been saying. Your talking an awful lot...avianmosquito wrote:...Because I could? Do I really need a better reason than that?
How would the FN FAL need more publicity? The only two rifles with more exposure are probably the AK and the M16 and their variants....Because I felt like it? Because I think it is an underrated rifle that needs more publicity? A bit of both?
So you shot him after he was down? And you complain that the DA conducted an investigation? Not even cops are allowed to shoot someone after they're down. And where was your daughter while you were firing?I got out of the car, he got in, I shot him twice before he could close the door, ripped him out of the car and shot him twice more. Regardless of whatever Ingsoc might say, 2+2=4, deal with it.
So, by your mid-twenties you've managed to: have three kids, get married, get divorced, get married again to someone who's income is high enough that you can afford an expensive rifle, a .45 and a shotgun and take care of three kids, oh, and you've also killed three people. You've also found financial troubles but are still going back to school while still supporting those three kids.Because before I got laid off I didn't really have financial issues. My wife has a high-paying job, mine was decent, and my ex-wife's child support payments are reasonable. I bought them because I had the money, as well as a pump shotgun (Mossberg 590) shortly after the home invasion.
Wow. I don't think that many "Internet Tough Guy" alarms have been going off in my head at the same time before...
