Happy Gnome Makes 1k posts Day!

Post by Darth Garden Gnome »

YAY! One thousand posts. And I'll be here for another thousand too! But enough banter, onto the festivities!

*Music fills the air, as rows of gnomes march down the street in a stiff but orderly fashion. Hangliders soar through the skies dropping confetti and other usless junk onto the cheering crowds below. The lawns of every citizen proudly display their lawn ornament, gnome or not. It's a beautiful day out, and the crowd can hardly hold in their joy.*

*The gnomes attentivley stop midway through the streets and stare up into the press box containing none other than the Gnome to end all Gnomes, Darth Garden Gnome*

"People of this fair city, I will be the first to welcome you to the one thous-"

*But DGG is cut off by an ominous rumbling that echoes through the city. The skies grow dark, and and grey clouds form over the city. Thunder begins to ring in every citizens ear.*

"What the fu-"

*Search lights blast through the darkness from above and the faint sound of propeller blades can be heard through the din of the storm. Several helicopters land in the town sqaure, and the people scatter to hide in their homes. The helicopters are simply labeled: MODS. Several men drop from the choppers carrying the tool of the trade. The lockdown.*

"Hey! Don't rain on my parade! No literally, you're gonna wash all the paint off my gnomes! It'll take weeks to get them back to the factory and re-painted. Do you really want to have that burdon on your shoulders? Well do ya?"

*Chases mods away with a big stick*

"Let the festivities continue!"

*The sky clears, the people emerge from their homes, and soon enough the gnomes continue marching onwards to the next city.*

Ok, well I'm done.
