This round, Zack rolled highest, tieing a solo and a bouncer for total initiative.

"Fuck it, just grab them and go!" Tyrel yells at the younger solo. Not needing to be told twice Edward grabs the lot from both lockers and jumps the counter, running across the street to join Jake and Joe.

Meanwhile the bouncer that tackled Rock struggles with the big man to control his gun arm. For a man that just took multiple rounds of machine gune fire he's still putting up a hell of a fight, trying to get his pistol to bear.

Zack you're up :D

Moving I put the rifle point blank to the bounce sitting atop Rock and count down, "Three... Two... One..."

If he hasn't moved by the time I count down then he gets a new orifice in his skull, if he does then we start pulling out without another round wasted. Everybody should be clear now so Zack helps Rock to his feet and they start moving to the Sedan. Helping his wounded companion into the back seat he looks to see if Joe's awake yet and if not he grabs the phone and starts flipping through looking for a ripper doc. If so he wants to get Joe on the phone calling in a favor quickly.

"Yes, I'm off duty!", I shout into the receiver, trying to be louder than the riot, irritation clearly showing through my voice, "There's people getting shot here, and the whole thing could spill out onto the street any minute!"

I hear someone screaming, and pop out to check the situation, "Oh, hell...", I say to myself seeing the psycho nomad trying to kill another bouncer, "Get me that backup!", I shout into the receiver one last time and disconnect. I pull out the microwaver and try to zap the psycho before he does more damage. If he falls, I'll try to help the bouncer restrain him. If he doesn't...well, I'll see what happens and play it by ear.

The bouncer on top of Rock freezes, holding rocks one good arm out with both of his. "If I let go he'll shoot me..." he states as flatly and clearly as possible. The other standing across the doorway from you levels his MAC-10 at Zack.

Tyrel grabs Ashton with his meat arm and shoves him out the doorway while gutting another Bloodrazor with his wolvers. He tries to slash at a few gangers as they charge for the doorway but misses.

They head straight for the standoff happening on the sidewalk. Jake Takes the first one off his feet with a shot to the gut from his lever action rifle. The other pops his razors and charges at Bosco's back. Jakes manages to get another shot off, blasting the charging psycho through the knee. The ganger drops like a sack of bricks to the ground at Zacks feet.

Rock meanwhile lowers his arm and says through gritted teeth, "I'm good-fucking hell-let go." The puddle of blood from Rocks mangled arms is extending out and running into the cracks of the sidewalk. "Fuck man we better tie that thing off."

Bosco you're up, feel free to microwave who you choose.

Yes, Rock The Psycho, but since he's not going to be shooting any more bouncers, I won't zap him :D

Sorry about that, I thought you were aiming at Rock. Jake shot both gang members who ran out the door. One was charging Bosco so when he was shot his momentum carried him past Bosco to land beside Zack. The way I pictured it the brawl was to the left of the doors, Zack was standing over the two struggling men. Bosco came out the door just behind Zack and was standing slightly behind him, nearest to the club entrance almost right beside the body of the first bouncer Rock shot.

If I missed some details there I'll fix the story to fit. My apologies for the lack of clarity. :D

Generally speaking, I was hiding behind a counter I pictured being next to the safes :D

But yeah, I was aiming at Rock.

But this doesn't really matter

-----------------------------------

Startled, I shift my aim to the ganger who flies right besides me. His kneecap seems to be missing: fortunately, by the time I can get my bearings again, the psycho nomad decides to stand down. I lower the microwaver and put it besides my gun, in the classic gun-and-flashlight grip.

I look around me, at the brawl still going on, and finally point to the bouncer who just narrowly avoided being killed by the heavily armed, fucked-up psycho: "You!", I shout to him, trying to sound properly authoritarian, "Lock down the safes! I don't any of those idiots to get any more weapons! Then get your men together and start herding civilians outside!", I don't know if there actually are any civilians inside the club, but if there are, it's my first priority to save as many of them as possible.

(Is this map sort of right?

Image

Dark Green = Nomad or Myself
Light Green = Bosco
Grey = Bouncer
Dark Red = Booster
Red Square = Weapons Locker

Rock and I are furthest forward now, everybody else is nearly out the door and I've started to drag Rock towards the car now. Somebody should also be trying to get Joe awake to ask about medical for Rock. Is this what you're both understanding from this?)

No, the counter thing is minor, and I'll do the same when standing on the street. It's even a bit better that way.

Zack looks at Bosco and says, voice escalating in severity as he speaks, "You say anything that stupid again and I'll brain you right on the spot. Nobody goes back in, we seal the doors and let C-SWAT and Trauma Team sort things out and fuck off. I need to get Rock fixed and my team patched up. I have everything I need, and should you try to go back in I will kneecap you myself. You so much as aim that piece at me and Jake removes your head with a rifle round. No stand down and get in the car or I'll make use of you as parts!"

The bouncer on the ground slowly lets go of Rocks hand, and reaches for the sky, still looking at the ground. "Honestly I think I'd rather be shot. The cops don't even go in there when the brawls start." Rock stays quiet, he's obviously in a world of hurt but refuses to show it. The other two bouncers take the stoppers out from under the doors and let them swing shut. It doesn't look like there are any civilians in there, the bouncers pulled a few out before but they aren't willing to go back in.
This isn't exactly a dance club, the people that come here are showing up to watch a bloodsport and rub shoulders with the nastiest people in the entire city.

A man comes sauntering out the side door, he seems way too relaxed considering the circumstances. "Eyyyyy, Suds" he drawls, offering his hand. Looking at Zack, obviously the person in charge of the group "Any of your boys looking for work? We have a medical program, the rest we can negotiate in the back."

Bosco, seems how you work there you know the cops won't be there for at least 10 minutes even though the precinct is just up the street.

"Fine", I say, waving my hand, "Then you and your men should keep an eye on the door. I want to know if they try to run with a hostage, or do something equally stupid.", I look around the street, "Keep bypassers away and if anybody wounded manages to get out, direct him towards that bus stop over there", I point towards a dilapidated, but still sheltered bus stop, "For first aid. We'll have some backup in ten minutes or so."

As I speak, I pull out my badge and hang it on a chain around my neck, "If any one of you has an image recorder or camera, try to take mugshots of the gangers if they leave, but don't take any chances."

Looking at the scene, I shake my head. I always found the idea of the Slammer to be stupid, and I'm not even sure I should bother trying to control the scene, but I don't care, as long as I can stop even one more innocent bystander from getting hurt. Ignoring Zack and his pack, I start surveying the people who got out for wounds.

Just then, some asshole saunters out the side door and starts talking as if nothing's happened.

Oh, for the love of God...

Zack looks down at rock as the two bouncers stand down and then, after giving his downed pack mate a reassuring smile, the nomad looks to the bouncers and says, "Sorry about your coworkers, but they shot at a pack mate, and look on the bright side. If they had any good chrome you guys might just have first choice."

With that he looks at the cop who's trying very hard to get people to listen to him and really not getting much for his trouble; authority can only get you so far and around her police authority doesn't exactly hold much sway. While he decides how to deal with Bosco another man comes around from the side of the building. He's relaxed and definitely interested in something and son after shaking hands Zack can guess exactly what it is.

Once the club's, Zack would guess owner, has finished speaking he says, "Medical sounds good right abut now. That and 20% of the cut for whatever parts you salvage from the guys we put down. If that's all good then lets get my good buddy rock on a table and stitch that arm up and get to making a deal."

He's decided to ignore the cop for now, the guys microwaver might cook his balls a bit, but he's got no chrome of his own so it doesn't worry him. That and the popgun toy pistol makes him wonder how the cops can deal with the mean streets. Nomads don't have the best guns, but they can make a good hole in you and they'll fire for ages without a jam, besides, smart guns are for posers and those with more money than sense anyway.

There's a few wounded patrons milling about on the street, the ones that aren't too bad are high-fiveing each other. Mostly members of the Black Queens, a gang well known for being a bunch of juvenile sissies that the Sacred Blades don't even bother fighting. There's about 4 people on the sidewalk that could use some first aid though a state hospital isn't likely to help anyone without insurance. (OOC I don't know how much you know about the United States medical system but it's all privatised medicine.) You're welcome to make untrained attempts to stop bleeding, though if any real gangers make it outside that badge is going to be a target and a trophy.

"20%? For what? shooting a few guy, including my bouncer in self defence? I'll have Vaso start working on your boy there while we work out a few things as a sign of good faith, otherwise you can pay upfront. He wasn't wounded on the job you know..." The man gestures again towards the side door. "We can stand out here and argue or we can talk some actual business and get him inside, I reckon he'll need a new shoulder. I'm amazed he's still standing." He looks at Rock, "Are you sober or fucked up so much you don't realise that you look like swiss-fucking-cheese?"

I holster my gun and survey the scene, starting to feel more and more like an outside context problem. There's some jackasses high-fiving each other for...some reason, I guess, and others shellshocked wandering around aimlessly - which seems oddly normal. People who just nearly got killed are supposed to be shocked, not grinning like idiots.

The world is growing more and more insane every minute, I think dryly, but nevertheless, I do my job. The site needs to be clear of civilians, so I herd the wounded towards the bus stop and inspect the wounds - my first aid training was years ago and I barely remember what to do, but at least I can triage them somewhat, try to stop bleeding and send the worst to the emergency room. They probably don't have insurance, but emergency rooms have to treat people coming in whether or not they can pay. (OOC: Yes, I do know a thing or two about health care in the US :) )

Hearing laughter, I turn around, clearly ticked off, "Hey, jackasses", I bark to the Black Queens who are apparently enjoying themselves, "You can either help, or scram."

"I had to try for a bit extra, never trust a man who doesn't haggle I say," says Zack rolling with the conversation before continuing with, "Your deal seems fair enough. Lets get moving."

With that Zack walks through the side door.

When Rock is questioned he says, "I'm even tougher than I look and twice as stubborn. Losing an arm sucks, but I'm more pissed that I'll have to get my pack colors redone..."

Meanwhile Joe's waking back up and Jake has taken over leadership of the pack outside, he puts a hand on Boscos shoulder and say, voice trying to project a cool self confidence, "Chill choomba, no need to get yourself flat lined over some punks. You'd best put that badge away and let some of the lower class do their thing here. That is unless you want to give the next booster through that door a nice shiny new trophy and a story to tell around a pack of smash."

Looking at the Blades he says with a grin, "Pack of smash and some street cred for the first kid to pull a body out of the club."

Tyrel isn't much of a leader and he gives a nod to Jake and heads off on his bike to relay the tale of the day in person to the pack.

"Hey", I turn to the nomad - Jake, I think, "Why don't you and your buddies lose the attitude, huh? I know you guys don't give a shit about other people, but I do. And no, I'm not going to hide my badge like it's something to be ashamed of."

There aren't at present any Blades outside...

Suds opens the door and lets you and Rock wander in. You're met by a smallish man of what looks to be germanic decent who introduces himself as Vaso, for some reason one of his arms looks like it came off an african. The guy obviously isn't a fan of personal grooming with a few day old beard, missing teeth and in dire need of a haircut. He takes one look at Rocks shattered arm and leads the three of you to a small, sterile room with what looks like home-built medical instruments.

"We can cut it the rest of the way off, put a chrome one on, I've got a few used ones. *wink* That or we could find one off one of the recently deceased with a similar build. It would probably even come with free upgrades hehee!" He fiddles around with an old school hypodermic needle for a moment before gently pushing Rock onto the old dentists chair he uses as an operating table. Sticking him with the needle -"Fuck, I forgot to ask, new or used chrome, still warm razors or whatever I've got in stock as a replacement? quick before you pass out..."

During all of this Suds motions Zack to the corner of the room, "Best to stay out of his way, he's brilliant but has the attention span of a gnat." Thinking for a moment he flatly states, "Alright, I'll put it out in plain english. I'll offer 150eb per night, per guy. You guys move like a trained unit, and no I don't care where you're from, if it's something I have to lie about don't bother telling me. I'll supply gun-cammed MAC 10's along with medium armour jackets and pants when you're working. Any wounds you get while working will be stitched up by Vaso. Obviously my current bouncers are fucking incompetent. I'd prefer that your gang colours or whatever the fuck those tattoos are stay hidden, you leave your personal shit at the door. You check weapons, keep an eye on the crowd, try to keep the brawls to the arena where they belong. If shit does hit that fan get yourselves out first, all others come second. The whole place is under surveillance, not that anyone really cares what goes on in here. I'll pay for a dozen guys if they'll all move like your group did tonight, interested?"

The Queens are busy showing off the minor cuts they've managed to get, like they're some kind of tough guys. Probably the adrenalin, when you live in shit the only things that make you feel really alive are near misses or drugs. The three guys and one woman your treating seem like they'll be alright, though one guy looks like he's going into shock despite no obvious wounds.

The guys you yelled at yell some stupid shit back, "I smell bacon I smell pork...." "Oink Oink Oink," and "Yeah, or else what?" seem to be the most intelligent of the replies, but the group wanders off down the street still leering and heckling you as they go.

One of the guys at the bus stop is a member of the Black Queens gang, he's busy whining about how he's getting patched up by a pig, but isn't going anywhere anyways. What the other three are doing in a place like this isn't readily apparent. The bouncers pull the bodies off the sidewalk and just prop them up against the walls for now, grumbling amongst themselves.
