A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? Darn, they woke up a bit.

2-1.

And almost 2-2 (rather, it was 2-2, but wasn't counted by the refs).

God dammit, the game is going back and forth a lot!

And no comment @ Bluewolf...

Wow, England got screwed with that disallowed goal. I actually feel bad, but go Germany. I hope they score again so it can be an actual win.

Prima, sehr gut, Deutschland!

Very well done-- very energetic and much more animated than the other games I've seen so far.

Got my schwartz, rot und gelb* on today. All my family heritage is from the English-Scottish border regions, but a combination of me having been to Germany and loving it, the snarky Scotsman lurking in my background, and Bluewolf's snarkiness on the USA yesterday puts me in the Deutschland corner.

*black, red and gold.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!

I never even saw the U.S./Ghana game (which I said yesterday) because I have something called a job. I talked about it when I got home, and continued to talk about it late into the morning. And then I got 5 hours of sleep and now I'm talking about it again. Fuck you.

Yes, I realize this is getting annoying, I will stop now (talking to the crowd). I am not getting tossed onto some shit list or hos thread with this douche.

Now to talk about the game.
This game just feels tainted now, I mean its a fact, England got the goal. Even if they score again, they got screwed. If the points stay the same, they got screwed. And this point I'm calling it, Germany won, though its not much of a victory. I don't see much happening in the 2nd half in terms of goals, just a lot of frustrating close calls.

MÜLLER.

3:1.

What a brilliant counter.

This was one for the books. People will look at this how a quick counter-attack is supposed to be played.

I'm glad Germany scored, but did have to be so soon after I said what I said before.

 They scored again.
