the video "atheism versus christianity"

Anyone seen the video "Atheism versus Christianity, where does the evidence poitn?" Heard a Christian say the atheist's argument was 'pathetic'.

Any fellow non-believers seen this video? What transpired? Was published in about 1994.

What made me raise my eyebrows was that the copy I saw at a friend's house had the sticker of a local church stuchk to it.

Reason I'm asking is that there's a public debate at the Town Hall in Sydney Australia coming up on August 27: is there a God or something. I think I'm going; a few of my Christian friends as well.

The problem I have is that I'm hoping its not a situation of the evolution vs creationism debates- i.e. where the crowd is loaded in the creationists favour, the evolutionist gives a perfectly acceptable talk but it is lost on the audience because the standard of scientific education is so piss poor. This is of course helped along by creationist misrepresentations and strawman's etc.

Regardless, this Aug 27 thing should be interesting.

I wouldn't be too surprised. I've noticed that a favourite fundie tactic is to make their opponents look stupid and/or completely insane; makes it easier to distract the real stupid people from the fact that they're being sold a fairy tale.
