His daughter, Hana Oudeh, said her father died of kidney failure. She said he was taken to Damascus' Andalus hospital after falling sick, and died today.
Mohammed Oudeh, also known as Abu Daoud, did not take part in the attack on September 5 1972.
He was a leader of Black September, an offshoot of the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's Fatah group that was established to avenge the 1970 expulsion of Palestinian guerrillas from Jordan.
Hana Oudeh said her father will be buried later today in Damascus' Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp.
He is survived by five daughters and a son.

yeah, if people live long enough to see the consequences of their actions they gennerally do. look at Byrd, Wallace and others, Supprised that Mossad didn't kill him waaaay back when, then again, maybe they were too busy killing innocent waiters.

In a 2006 interview, Oudeh said he had no qualms about the operation because he considered the Israeli athletes, as military reservists, legitimate targets.
