Does it seem that there are fewer good new PC games?

I'd personally blame OFP2 on Codemasters more than consoles. Dropping support for the game after a whole two(?) patches seems to be a pretty good indicator of how much their cared.

On the other hand, it sold and reviewed badly so why would they waste their time?

I don't think there were many people really expecting them to do a good job of it anyway.
