There were some Black Panthers that were caught on tape at a polling place, and the clips I saw made it look like they were trying to intimidate voters. So a voting rights investigation was started. It got quashed (or delayed or something, Republicans are saying it was dismissed). Republicans are claiming it was done for racial reasons on Holder's part. Try looking for that. On that note, both Einstein and Franklin (a published scientist in his own right) were both, let's say, fond of women. Einstein, as I recall, went through at least one divorce because of an affair (whom he later married, I think) and Franklin, even in his old age, was constantly flirting with women. I remember Jefferson having written something about that, though I can't remember what exactly he said. He also never married his second wife, they simply lived together in a sort of common-law marriage because she was technically already married, divorce laws being what they were in the 18th century. I think it's pretty well established that men with the sort of personality to seek high levels in politics also have the sort of personality that leads them to not being able to keep it in their trousers, from Zeus on down.
