David Prowse banned from conventions by Lucas

So they banned him from ALL conventions and cast reunions for some comment he made 30 years ago?

Considering most of the cast members are known primarily for their attachment to Star Wars (and thus those events are pretty important to them today), that seems a little extreme to me, like it's a personal feud (see Shatner and Takei).

It must have been something more recent that triggered this. But yes, it does seem like a personal feud.

Surely he can't have been totally banned from conventions; Lucasfilm might be rich, but they're not the people running them. I mean, he might be banned from appearances at Lucasfilm panels and whatnot, but surely he could buy a ticket to ComiCon or whatever just like anyone else.
