I believe I had you listed as the invasion fleet member. Generally closer powers - you, Akhlut, Baerne, Shep, Katr - make up the "invasion fleet" contingent and the distant ones - Shinn, Rogue, Zor - make up the blockade fleet.A-Wing_Slash wrote:Sorry for my absence and my delay on this, but I just put my Gothamite task force onto the Pendleton coalition page. I put them in the invasion fleet, though if that's not what you had in mind Steve that can be easily changed. Or they can just get their shit rocked by the Collector's first volley.

There is no "overkill". There is only "open fire" and "I need to reload."Fingolfin_Noldor wrote:Moral of the STory: Do what the Imperium does: Bring so mcuh firepower you can lay waste to a planet many many times over.
There is no such thing as overkill.
Each year you can build some ships. Since it's peacetime you shouldn't build more than 20% of GDP worth of ships, more like 10% would probably make sense. Figure out what you want to do with X% of your GDP worth of ships; mods can tell you if you picked a reasonable value of X (though Siege might be biased...Shroom Man 777 wrote:How on Earth do you people make your nation profiles? Should I trade my sectors for GDP boosts? Is it worth doing that? Can I use GDP to BUY a warpgate? Can I use GDP to BUY a hyperspace junction? Or use GDP to buy GDP boosts? What.
(I just want to increase my money so I can buy more ships.)
Also, how on Earth do you do these military acquisitions thing? I compute the percentage of my GDP for the military, say 10%, and then...

Indeed.Master_Baerne wrote:So I'm guessing we should call This Land (of Pendleton) My Grave?
You automatically get a free Warp Gate and Hyperspace Junction in your home sector. You can't build more hyperspace junctions but you can build a warp gate assembly.Shroom Man 777 wrote:How on Earth do you people make your nation profiles? And, of course, the goddamn allosaurus director will have no ability to comprehend WHY the humans are getting their weird pelvic garments bunched up around their external genitals when he shows their relatives in absolutely stupid and appalling scenes in the made-for-TV enormous blockbuster movie!Master_Baerne wrote:This needs to happen. For the Umerians, beginning construction of a warp gate assembly might make a lot of sense. What kind of price range and construction timescale would we be looking at?You can't build more hyperspace junctions but you can build a warp gate assembly.
See, this is why Umeria is awesome. We don't have this kind of problem with our financial system.Akhlut wrote:Also, I full well expect that someone, somewhere in the galaxy is selling subprime mortgages in exchange for pornography. And that it might well cause the utter collapse of galactic civilization as the economy implodes because of it, for arcane reasons not even the largest supercomputers can figure out or comprehend.
